Spring babydoll - babydoll and panties set by Escante - review by ~LaUr3n~

My partner was the one who really wanted me to get this item. For weeks he hadn't really shown an interest in picking new lingerie claiming "It all looks the same lately." Then one day I came home and he said that he had to see me in this. I fell in love with it from the get go too. Not only is it gorgeous, but it will flatter many figures. For those who want to cover up a bit and still show skin, the middle panel allows for that. Below this area is the ruffled skirt portion which can hide a tummy if you are self conscious. I found that it's so comfortable and I instantly felt gorgeous, sexy, and even more confident wearing it. It's one of those lingerie pieces that you keep on during sex not to cover up, but because it makes you feel like a total bomb shell. I didn't even want to take it off after!

The Spring Babydoll is brought to us by Escante. It's a two piece babydoll and g-string set. It has a removable ribbon that ties around the waist. It can be replaced with a different ribbon if so desired. The babydoll ties around the neck, but other than that there are no closures. It comes in an ivory and lavender pairing of colors. Sizes S, M, and L are available.

*Material: Mixed, Stretchy, Comfortable

This babydoll's body is made of 91% nylon and 9% elastic. The purple lace portion is made of 88% nylon and 12% elastic. The ivory portion is like mesh, but it isn't as soft as most. While that being said, it isn't scratchy either, it simply is more durable. It is mostly see through and will show nipples, tattoos, etc, but isn't totally sheer. The purple part is my favorite. It's gorgeous! There is a thin embroidery in the material.

It's very silky and smooth, sort of feels like bathing suit material. However, it's much thinner. Being white, it isn't good at hiding other colors underneath it, especially dark and very light. Nude colors are best to be worn underneath it. The material is stretchy but also durable. It doesn't feel cheap and it isn't at all scratchy. It feels amazing against the skin and keeps the skin cool by being very breathable.

There are also metal adornments with faux rhinestones. I expected the stones to snag the material easily, but they actually are very smooth and won't do any damage to the material! It has a very interesting and pretty intricate design. This area is quite stretchy, so don't worry if you are a little thicker in the middle than the model.

Even the ribbon feels like a great material. It's super silky!

*Design/craftsmanship: Amazingly flattering, well put together!

The cups are 5 1/2" across the bottom and 8" tall. They stretch very well and will accommodate many, but won't support. A very long ribbon is attached to the top of each "cup". It's 7/8" wide. There is no underwire or padding of any sort. The material doesn't support at all. Tying the halter only helps a tiny amount.

The back is open and cuts straight across. The middle area is 7 1/2" tall (with scalloping) and 12" wide. This section attaches to the two tiered and ruffled skirt. This section is 8 1/2" long. Depending on your torso length breasts size, and how you tie the halter, the length will fall differently on your body.

The g-string is typical and has a t-string back. A g-string would technically have a little triangle at the top of the string. It is 6 1/4" across the top. The back slides which can be annoying to some.

*Care and packaging:

The dress comes in a plastic bag on a plastic hanger. It has a cardboard tag attached to it. It's made in Mexico. The tag says to hand wash in cold water and line dry. Do not wring of twist to get out water.

*Sizing/fit: Very accurate, True to fit

I don't have that much experience with this company (I think I have 3 pieces now, but at the time of the order, I only had one to base a sizing choice on). I chose the medium because the other similar item from this company that I had was also a medium and was a pretty good fit. This fits like a glove!

According to their sizing chart, the ML should fit a size 6-10 dress, B-C chest, 34-36" band, 28-30" waist, 32-34" hip, and 120-140 pounds. At the time of this review I am about 145 pounds, size 8 in most jeans, 8/9 in dresses, 36 D or DD (on occasion) bra, 34.5" under bust, 41" bust, 39" hip, and 30 1/2" waist. Note my measurements have changed. I hadn't retaken them in about a year!

Considering that this fits like a glove, it's very accurate, in my opinion. The hips, waist, and pound range can be extended a bit. The bust doesn't provide support but it does cover my D breasts. Any smaller than a C might get lost under the fabric since there is no definition, but it won't create a gap like a padded underwired piece might.

I honestly wouldn't wear any stockings with this. The ivory or lavender are hard colors to match anyways without going into a store. For heels, again, it's tough to find a good matching shade, but if you can find a heel that wrap up the calf or around the ankle in ivory or lavender, that'd be perfect!

LOVZ! The overall design is gorgeous. It's tight in the correct spots and lose in spots that won't be unflattering. I instantly got turned on when I put this on because it literally makes me feel that sexy! My partner absolutely loves it, and it's one of those pieces that you keep on during sex just because of how sexy it is. It's also not sexy in an obvious, showing a lot of skin, or chains and leather kind of way. The price is a little over what I think the materials and construction reflect, BUT you can't put a price on extreme confidence boosts!

I still love the Spring Babydoll. It's clear that the material is delicate and does require some softer handling. I have chosen to not wash it, but instead use de-wrinkler and fabric refreshers because of how much I love it. I don't want to ruin it! I've tossed the thong, but the babydoll is here to stay.for as long as it can.
