Pot hole tube dress - gown by Music legs - review by married with children

This arrived in a standard cardboard box, similar to the packaging that thigh highs and stockings would come in. The dress was wrapped in a plastic wrap around a cardboard backer. It was nothing special and had a cheap feel to it. I was not expecting much from this item, maybe a few good rounds in the bedroom; if it would last. The dress is made from 88% Nylon and 12% spandex. This is made in Taiwan.

The material is pretty stretchy. So it should fit the size range they give in the sizing chart. It was pretty tight on some of my wife's body and lose on other parts. It fit pretty well for being a one size fits most.

This dress is supposed to fit anyone who falls in between 5 foot and 5 foot 10 inches, and 100 to 175 pounds. My wife is only about 5 foot 4 inches and 115 pounds. She falls on the lower side of the fit scale. I am always worried about purchasing clothes on line, and even more so when they are "one size fits most". We have not had good luck in the past, I guess my wife does not fit into the "most" category when it comes to clothes.

There are no cleaning instructions included with this dress. I would recommend you wash on delicate cycle or hand wash, and drip dry. I could see a dryer being a problem with this material. For storage we just throw it in the underwear drawer, and have had no problems to date. We have a higher quality dress that is kind of like this one, and it lives in the underwear drawer when not in use. We have had it and used it for a few years with no problems. I am hoping to get at least a year out of this one.

This fit pretty well for what it is. And had it been more expensive, I would be slightly upset about the fit. But because it did not break the bank, we can live with it. She knows I find her hot in her outfits, so she wears them. But like most women, she is slightly self conscious about her body. And this not fitting just right only makes it worse.

I would have to say that if you are toward the upper end of the sizing chart, that you might not want to get this. It might not fit you the way you would like it too. My wife is on the lower end, and she had problems with it.

This was a fun dress for awhile. It held up to a dozen washes or so. But it really did not have the lifeline that I am always looking for in a purchase. The material started to break down with each wash. It just looked more and more like a old dish cloth the more we used it. So it was fun while it lasted. Maybe we could have gotten a longer life out of it by being more careful with its cleaning.
