If you are looking for a mid-prized, quality pair of stockings to go with nearly anything, the Opaque thigh highs with lace up top by Leg Avenue are a great choice. The simple black stocking combined with the fashionista flare of a lace up detail on the top of the thigh

The stockings are best suited for average length legs. They are for people within the range of 90-160 lbs. I have slightly shorter than average legs (for reference, I usually buy clothing with an inseam in size “short”) with the widest part around at 19” and they worked just as well on me. They can stretch well and they do not give you the sheer spots that you get in other stockings when stretching them to their fullest potential. Long legged ladies need not worry, either!

These stockings are 100% nylon. They feel smooth and feel gorgeous on. I abhor itchy, cheap leggings and these did not disappoint me! The material is somewhat of a thick material, however they allow your legs to breathe. I do not foresee them snagging or tearing easily.

The top of the stockings is where the uniqueness really shows! The bases of the thigh highs have a beautiful transparent lacey band, with a corset-like lace up tie on the front. The ribbon is not the best quality; however this can be substituted with your ribbon of choice, so long as you have the right tiny size. I am on the hunt for different colored ribbons to further coordinate my stockings to my lingerie pieces.

Your new stockings will come in a cardboard sleeve with the thigh highs modeled. It is not offensive.When caring for your thigh highs, handwashing will be your safest bet. Air dry and do not iron.

All in all, I am very satisfied with my Opaque thigh highs with lace up top by Leg Avenue. They are a staple in your wardrobe and they can go along with nearly any lingerie. The corseting touch give them an ultra-feminine appeal that many will love. These earn an A+!
