My first try at a shelf bra.

I have always been a bit skeptical of shelf bras and now I know why. Being a C/D cup, with not much support, they just do not work for me. However, my boyfriend picked this out and I am always up for trying new things. Plus who does not love a cute, frilly skirt?

First off, the g-string is my favorite part of this outfit. It is very comfortable. I love the thin back g-string part, better than a wide thong in my opinion. The elastic has a lot of stretch to it and does not dig into you. I love this g-string so much I tend to wear it on its own. It feels great under jeans. Actually, it does not feel like you are wearing anything at all.

The skirt: The detachable garters are always a great option. The frilly layers are fun. The waist band part is a little too restrictive and can lead to a muffin top situation. I would have liked it to be a bit more stretchy. I am not a fan of the bows.

The bra: As I said earlier, this is my first self bra, but my boobs just do not look great it it. The underwire and padding do not offer as much support as I would like or need. The three eye-hooks on the back make adjusting an option so this helps. Once again, I am not a fan of the bows and may cut them off.

Overall the color is great. A sexy shade of hot pink and the black contrast is killer.

The fabric seems good quality for the price and has some stretch to it. No holes or damage so far and I have worn it about 4 times so far.

I would recommend this if you have a history of looking great in shelf bras. If you have never tried it, give it a shot. It may be worth it.
