Packaging: This shows up in a cardboard box designed to hang from a hook on a store shelf. The front of the box has a picture of a model wearing the dress, it is the same picture shown on the product page. The back has the same model shown from behind. There is little info included on the box. You get a size range for their understanding of a "one size fits most", and some small boxes showing the care instructions. Inside the box, the dress comes in a clear plastic envelope. Inside the envelope, the dress is folded around a cardboard insert. This packaging is only good for displaying it at a store, or for shipping. It is not really good for anything else. You cant use it for storage. It is recyclable, so that is a plus.

Care and storage: The only care instructions are printed as small boxes with pictures inside. No written instructions. As far as I can tell, this is a hand wash only, and a line dry. You also cant iron it. I am going to assume that you also cant bleach this. As far as storage goes, it is easier to fold this up and place it in a dresser drawer. The neck strap makes it hard to store on a hanger. We have had no problems keeping this stored in a dresser drawer.

Material: This is made from 100% Nylon. The material is not very soft. It is kind of scratchy and rough. It is not bad, but it does not feel like cotton does. The inside is slightly softer to the touch then the outside. This is due to the printed on polka dots on the outside. I could see this fabric being a slight problems for someone with sensitive nipples, if used as a pair of PJ's. The material is pretty stretchy. This might be a tight fit for you. My wife is on the lower end of the chart, and it hugged her pretty tightly. But more on the fit below.

Craftsmanship: The quality is not too bad on this. But then it is a plain, simple dress/nightshirt. The stitching seems to be done right. I could not find any loose threads or missed stitching. There is not much to this dress, so I would be really disappointed if there was a problem with the craftsmanship on this.

Fit: This was a tight fit. It did not look like it would fit at all when we first opened the package. It looked like something you would purchase in the preteen dept at the mall, not something made to fit a grown woman. But with the stretchiness of the material, it fit ok. It hugged my wife's body. It showed her every curve. Which could or could not be a good thing, all depends on her body image. My wife is pretty much fine with hers, plus she uses this as a sleep outfit. It might be different if she was using this outside of the house.
This is a one size fits most, assuming you fit within the sizing chart range they give. Music legs states this should fit someone between 5 foot and 5 foot 10 inches, and between 100 pounds and 175 pounds. My wife is about 5 foot 4 inches and 125 pounds. So she is on the lower end of the size range. This was tight fitting on her. So keep this in mind if you are toward the top end of the size range. You might not like the fit.

Design: This will pretty much stay on with out the use of the neck straps. But they have included them anyhow. As you can see from the picture on the product page, the dress has two neck straps coming off of each side. The straps are not connected to each other, you will have to tie them together once you get the dress on. The straps consist of what looks to be an elastic strap with a thin lace strap attached to it. This piece runs all the way around the back. The bust also has some lace on the top side, along with a bow sewn between the breasts. The bow is not removable. Running along the bottom of the dress is a 2 inch wide piece of lace. The lace does not stretch. The dress is about 21 inches long, from the center of the breast to the bottom of the lace ribbon.

We purchased this with the intent of using it for PJ's, and that is what she is using it for. So I cant complain there. If we had purchased this to wear out of the house, or for sexual fun; then I would complain a lot about it.

My wife likes the looks of the dress. She has one that looks just like this, that she has had for years. I don't know who made it, as the tag has been gone for a long time. It has the same look as this one, just a different fit. Her old one is made from cotton, this one is Nylon. That is the main reason we picked this one out. To replace her old one. She does not like it as much as her old one. Mainly because it is tight fitting, and can be uncomfortable to wear while she is sleeping. Also, she has sensitive nipples; and the material can cause some discomfort to them.

My wife really has not worn this much. The material is too scratchy on her nipples to wear it around the bedroom, or to bed as a pair of PJ's. The material is just a poor choice in this piece. Too bad, it is a cute dress.
