White four-way deep-v push up bra - bra discontinued by Baci - review by ~LaUr3n~

YEAY! This inexpensive bra from Baci is actually worth trying! I had a less than stunning experience with my first bra from the company, but this one works much better. I had to go up a cup size, but this turned out to be an excellent t-shirt bra for me. Those are the kinds that I don't like to spend a lot on. It offers lift and boost without padding and is convertable. I'm not happy that going up a cup size cause the band to expand to a three tiered eye and hook, but it doesn't cause back ripples, which drive me crazy. I'll be getting this in all the colors available!

*Contents/overview: One piece bra

This bra is from Baci. It has underwire, a solid band, and three eye and hook options. There is minimal padding and no shaping to the padding. It's cut in the demi style with deep V plunge neck line, and has a decent amount of push up power due to the shape. It comes in four colors: black, white, leopard, and zebra. I chose the white. They are also available in a wide range of sizes from 32 A to 38 DD.

*Material: Soft and silky



This bra is made of 90% polyester and 10% spandex. The material is silky and soft. The padding is also very light, because it is thin. Unfortunately, since it is cheap it can get creases and dimples easily. The portion that covers the underwire on the inside feels more velvety. The materials used to make the straps feel like typical elastic and are durable. They even have metal clips to attach to the bra.

*Design/craftsmanship: Great

I expected to see a lot of fray when I pulled this out of the plastic bag and tissue paper it came in. I was basing this off my last bra from Baci. To my surprise there were barely any. I only saw a few long threads on where the hook and eye closure was sewn. It was barely noticeable, so I didn't find it worth photographing and complaining about.

Let's start with the cups. They are molded and have underwire that starts very low in the center (doesn't come into the middle of the breasts) and ends on the sides about two-thirds of the way up the cup. The piece between the cups is 1/2" long. They are connected by a small piece of fabric. The cups are placed very close together. The cups are 8" wide from tip to tip of the wire. That is for the size DD cup.

Where the band connects to the bra it is 4 1/4" wide. This is a little too wide for my tastes. There is elastic sewn into the top and bottom. The band slims out to 2 1/4" where the eye and hooks are. This is very wide in my opinion. This is because there are three rows and three tiers of metal eye and hooks. There are three rows of double hooks. The only other bra I have with three tiers is a pushup strapless bra...

The straps are normal thickness and size. They have S hooks on both ends so the bra can be converted to have different strap configurations.

*Cleaning/packaging: Hand wash, plastic bag

This bra's tag says to hand wash in warm water. Because of the quality, I will be trying to remember to hand wash this. Something tells me that I'll probably forget and throw this in a washing machine eventually. It came in a plastic bag wrapped in tissue paper with Baci written all over it.

Here the bra is compared to a 36 D demi Vanity Fair bra... a DD is clearly smaller. My red bra is more of a fuller coverage bra, so I think it is safe to say a DD is more like a D (although it looks like a C compared).

*Sizing: Not true to size, cups run small

Under my bust is actually about 34", but I usually wear a 36 D. The only way I wear a 34 is if the cup is a DD. 90% of my bras are 36 D. When I got a bra from Baci last time, I got a D and it was a little too small. I decided to get a DD.

*Fit/Support: Surprisingly good!

YEAY! DD is a good match. I feel supported, boosted, and not smashed down. The band fits very well and is comfortable
While the cups clearly run small, I'll glady buy a DD if it means I spending $10 on a bra! I like that the deep V means this won't be seen under many shirts with various neck lines. When criss crossing the straps I have had them almost fall out of the holes, but had no issues trying other ways to wear this. I'm not big on convertible bras, so I'm just be wearing it the normal way. The biggest con is that the cups can dimple and crease easily. This can cause a dimpled appearance under really this shirts if they occur on the bra.

YEAY! I was hoping one of these Baci bra styles would work for me. I've tried two so far and I'm 1 for 1. This one is an excellent every day and casual tee-shirt bra. It's not best for being worn under super thin materials because of potential dimpling and it also runs small in the cups, but if you get the right size it is very comfy. I'll be getting this in more colors.

This bra is still holding up! The cups are not as formed as they were when I first got it but it still fits the same. I expected it to fall apart in the wash, but it's been just fine!
