Overview/Use: The Naughty in Paris Lace Babydoll is a lingerie set made by DreamGirl. It is supposed to look similar to a French maid, but a whole lot sexier. What I like most about this costume is that it isn't the cliche black and white French maid's uniform---it has pink! I am very girly and pink is always better! I would like to give the costume a higher rating but because the small does not fit small boobies (which I think is rather contradictory) and a few other design flaws I am only giving it three stars.


Material/Design: The entire Naughty in Paris costume is 100% polyester. It is not very comfortable and is a little itchy (but not enough to be distracting). Here is a link to read more about polyester. Something I like about this costume is all the trim! The whole thing is covered in ruffles and lace trim. I don't find the trim to be tacky at all, it adds a nice touch to the costume and makes it look sexy.

The costume comes in four pieces: the babydoll, thong, apron, and headpiece. When I ordered the costume I wasn't exactly sure what type of closure the babydoll was going to have. I read on reviews that it was a "tie closure" but I didn't know exactly what that meant. When I got the set I realized the tie closure is composed of a ribbon-lined slit (pink ribbon is sewn around the edges of the slit to create a finished look) that goes 2/3 the way down the back of the babydoll. At the very top of the slit there are 4 long ribbons, 2 on either side of the slit. This proved to be very hard to work with and I finally pulled my arms from beneath the straps and turned the back of the baby doll to the front of my body and tied the ribbons that way. It would have been nice if there was an easier method of closure to make it simpler to put on and to make the back of the costume look more polished. The straps on the baby doll are adjustable like typical bra straps. The thong is a little strange-looking because the front part is so tiny and the back part is a little wide, but it fit me nicely when I put it on. The apron is my favorite part of the set. It has two little pockets on the front and an inch and a half thick pink satin ribbon to tie it on. I actually did not use the headpiece because I thought it was a little silly looking and I wouldn't have felt as sexy with it on. If you are more confident than me and want to wear it all you have to do is tie it around your head by means of the attached ribbons.

Sizing: I ordered the small. I am an xs/s, 00/0, 32A, and 5'7". Everything fit me well except for the padded/underwire cups on the baby doll. There was quite a bit of room to spare in the cups after my boobies were in them! I'm sure if you have at least a B cup you can fit in the small pretty well, but A cups beware!

Care: The tag instructs that you hand wash in cold water and line dry. I would wash this in the sink with cold water and a dab of detergent and then hang it up to dry. I definitely would not put this in the dryer!!

Packaging: The set came with a Dreamgirl tag attached to the babydoll and the whole costume was wrapped in hot pink tissue paper inside the shipping box.

I bought this costume to surprise my boyfriend. I think it may have been a little too intimidating for him although he said he liked it. He tends to like more plain lingerie on me. I wore it with these stockings and used this pom pom to put on a sassy little show. I'm not in love with this set and may wear it again, but it definitely won't be a staple in my collection.

I wore this costume two times, but my boyfriend did not seem to like it very much. It didn't fit my bust very well, and it was itchy. I love to feel sexy in the bedroom, but this babydoll didn't quite make it past its second appearance.
