Boudoir rose lace set - bra, panty, garter belt and stockings set discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by Penguin

What can I say? I'm always right ;)! Despite her claims, I knew this outfit would look great on my girlfriend, and it totally did. When she told me about the review program, she said that I could pick anything I wanted to do the review on (without a previous review of course). She was probably thinking I would pick something all for myself...but really this was for me. For my eyes only!

I will describe the design and look and the sizing information will come from her experience, since she of course wore it for me.

I picked this outfit because I love garters, I love pink, and I love lace and frills. This was perfect. I knew she wouldn't waste an assignment, so she couldn't say no to not at least trying it on for me. The real model in the picture, both on the site and the front of the package, does not do justice to how this looks on her.

You really get your money's worth with this kit. It is manufactured by Leg Avenue. It comes with five matching pieces. To me, the more little pieces the sexier it is (emphasis on little). All of the pieces are one-size fits most. According to the package, this means 90-160 pounds. I think this fit my girlfriend near perfect, so if you are on the lower end of the spectrum, I think this would be too big for you. My girlfriend, said that some parts were a bit small, but she wasn't that uncomfortable to feel self conscious. I like it when things peek out a bit...I'm sure if you are a guy reading this, you know what I mean too.

On to the different pieces. The entire thing is made of 100% Nylon. The top, bottom, and garter piece feel like lace and mesh. The stocking, feel like nylon.

The top is kind of like a halter bikini swim suit top, but the back of it is like a bra with three different settings from, according to my girlfriend, about size 34-40 inch band size. She has size D breasts and I loved how the cup covered most of them, but let a little peak out. The lace also covers up some, but the mesh part is see through, with is a tease because you can see nipples through it. The top of the halter just ties.

The matching garter was my favorite part. It framed her hips and butt perfectly. The back of the garter has a clasp and adjustment like a bra strap, but much thinner. This, according to my girlfriend, will accommodate hip size 36-44 inches. I don't see how someone who is 90 pounds could wear this without it totally falling off of them. Anyways, the garters are also adjustable like bra straps and have traditional plastic eye and circle type slide clasps. I don't know if there is a special name for those or not.

The stockings that get attached to these are cute and sexy at the same time. They are one color nylon stockings. They have no netting or flower design like the rest of the mesh/lace. My girlfriend is 5'6" about 150 pounds and she has about 24 inch thighs. In my opinion she is great shape and these looked great on her. They were pulled up all the way. Even higher than the lanky model. She said that they were tight, but that if she pulled them PAST the thickest part of her thigh. This made it much more comfortable for her. You would have trouble if your thighs are much thicker.

The last piece was my girlfriend's least favorite, but my second favorite. There is a matching g-string. I like it when a thong creates that indent in the sides of the hips, but she doesn't. She wore these for me even though it did this. It was hidden by the garter though. These seemed to be on the smaller side compared to the rest of the outfit, but tied in nicely and I didn't have any complaints though! She completed the whole thing with her favorite sky high black heels. I'm sure my jaw hit the floor. She surprised me with this and I wasn't in the mood for play, but this quickly changed that.

When I got my hands on her, the material was soft and didn't scratch or irritate me. The panties can't come off without taking off the garters, which I didn't realize til I wanted them off. I was shown that they can just be easily moved to the side. The thong made her ass look even more amazing and again I really liked how I could see through to her nipples and panty area.

For cleaning, the package says to "hand wash separately, drip dry, and do not bleach." By the way, the costume comes in between pieces of cardboard wrapped in shrink wrap. This is useless after it is opened and we threw it out.

If you are a guy, you would be missing out if you didn't get this for your girlfriend. Valentine's day is coming up right? lol. And girls, if you get this or buy it for yourself, do your man a favor...I hope you would wear all the pieces because it looks so hot all together!

We still love this set. It has held up well despite the lace feeling cheaper. To my surprise, my girl hasn't put a run in the tights either.

The only problem is that one of the garter connectors broke. I don't think it would have broken during normal wear. It got stuck in the carpet and when she went to pull it up, it snapped. So they are kind of weak. Just be careful I guess.
