I'm fairly new to the world of lingerie. Sure, I've bought cute or sexy undies or bras. I've owned corsets or sexy nighties. I just don't have a collection. But now I'm hooked, and this little outfit is the first of many little outfits in my future. This babydoll set is so sheer and skimpy, you feel sexy and alluring but you're still nearly nude. I really enjoyed the fact that I wasn't covered in all kinds of straps and nylons and fabric, but I was still dressed to impress.





This set is a very nice shade of purple. The edges of the babydoll are trimmed in matching purple lace. The entire body of the set is a sheer purple, very fine mesh. The straps are stretchy elastic in the same shade of purple. The sequins used to decorate the empire waist are more of a silver color. The entire outfit is made of 100% polyester. This means that it isn't the softest set out there. It has a bit of a plastic-y feel to it, and parts of it are a bit scratchy. The tags say it must be handwashed and hung to dry. I'm assuming this has to do with the sequins, as polyester could usually be machine washed.

I bought the plus size, as I'm a curvy girl and I don't enjoy super tight lingerie. I was impressed with the sizing, which seems right on the money. I can see it fitting a wide range of women. The babydoll is adjustable in two ways. There are straps which are tied halter style behind your neck, and ties at roughly bust level that tie behind your back. The g-string is surprising nice, and very comfortable. Nearly your entire back is out in the open when you wear this, which is hot. You can wow him with the outfit, and then shock him when you turn to walk away and you're nearly naked.

I am a C cup, but after two kids the girls need a bit of support. I was hoping that I could tie the back tight enough and use the halter feature to give them a bit of a lift. This didn't really work out. I wasn't able to give my chest any kind of support with the ties. I think it looks good anyway, but if you are well endowed or really need lingerie that offers support in that area, this probably isn't the set for you.

The packaging was very simple, with a plastic bag inside a cardboard outer package. I wouldn't say it was suitable for storage. I just put the whole thing in a drawer.

This has held up to multiple hand washings, with no damage or wear. The sequins are still in place. I'm impressed with the durability.
