I will admit I didn't have extremely high hopes for these stockings when I got them. They were included as a freebie in a promotion for another piece we bought and at first my wife was very skeptical of the bows on the stockings. But she agreed to give them a chance and we're both glad she did.

The stockings arrive in a clear plastic pouch like most stockings and they are wrapped around a piece of cardboard. The insert shows a picture of the stockings being worn by the model and include the name. Like all stocking packaging it's not really suitable for storage so the cardboard went in the trash very quickly.

The first thing you must note is that the bows on these stockings are big, at least bigger than they appeared to be in the picture on the website. If you are going to wear these stockings in public, I would suggest some looser items of clothing and not a tight dress or skirt, or else the bows will be apparent from underneath your clothes. That being said, these stockings are great and extremely well made. The stockings are much more sheer than they appear to be in the picture as well, which is great for my wife who is not a fan of opaque stockings.

These stockings are "One Size Fits All" and are very easy to put on. My wife is 5'6" and the stockings came to her mid-thigh and rested comfortably there. Shorter people may have a problem with the stockings being too long perhaps, but I would think if you're 5"3" or taller these should fit just fine. The elastic within the stockings was surprisingly strong. Thigh high stockings can be hit or miss with the elastic/silicone on the thigh highs and my wife has found that they tend to sag or droop throughout the day if not worn with a garter belt. Not so with these stockings! We've worn these in public twice, once for a date night and once she wore them to a meeting and they hold up very well. The elastic holds throughout the day and my wife only had one instance on sagging, which is perfectly acceptable with wearing them for almost 12 hours. They are also very easy to wear with a garter belt. The garters attach to the stockings rather easily, unlike some thigh high stockings which are hard to attach to a garter belt.

The bows were not noticeable underneath either outfit that she wore, but in both cases she wore an A-line skirt. Neither skirt was skin tight and allowed for the bows to remain hidden. The bows seem to be made of a satin-like material and stay attached to the stockings well. If you have problems with the bows or no longer like them you could cut the bows off and keep the stockings as well.

The stockings were very comfortable to wear, although my wife though the material was a tad bit thin. If you're not careful you could get runs in these stockings easily. On a thinness scale I would rate these a 4. For reference I would give delicate silk stockings a "1" and thick, opaque tights a "10" on the thinness scale. These will be fine for most everyday use, just be careful around file cabinets and such.

You could launder these stockings if you chose too, but I would advise against it. I think it would mess up the bows and it is pretty easy to hand wash these stockings and then hang them to dry. I would store them with other hosiery or in a lingerie drawer.

Overall we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and look of these stockings and they are now part of my wife's regular rotation.

We still love these stockings and my wife wears them quite often. The bows are still in great shape, we've been hand-washing the stockings and allowing them to air dry. The material, while thin, hasn't had any runs or rips in it yet and it feels fantastic on my wife's legs. These are really nice stockings to have in your collection, especially for the price!
