Satin and lace garterbelt and panty set by Charm Wear - review by wrecklesswords

I truly hate having to write a disappointing product review. I do my best to love everything about every item I receive because I want to be as objective as possible. However, that is unfortunately not always the case. Some products make it hard for me to love them, no matter how pretty or sexy they are.

That is exactly the tone of this scarlet garter belt and thong set. While it has a touch of sexuality mixed with classic, it falls short of all of my expectations with a set like this. First, it is marketed as a "one size fits most" product, which is typical for most boxed lingerie products. I have 44" hips and a 34" waist. The thing dug into me awkwardly and almost painfully as it was far too small for hips of my size. While the belt itself fit around my waist, the size difference between my waist and hips left much more of a gap between panty front and garter belt front that shown on the model, who is clearly the correct size for this particular piece.

This is when the most disappointing thing happened. I was adjusting the belt and rearranging the garter straps to prepare to hook a set of stockings to it when one of the straps completely pulled off of the belt in one swift movement. No warning, the product wasn't torn at all and seemed to have been stitched together well. This strap just completely came off of the belt.

Now, someone who is crafty and good with sewing or a sewing machine could fix this within the issue, so do not fear. I believe I received a defective product for this review.

Rest assured that my experience was most likely a factory fluke. If you are interested in this item, you most likely will not experience the fall out that I did.

The belt has mild plastic boning in it, which I find to be a lovely touch for someone that it would fit better. The lace and mesh are soft and stretchy and would barely be seen underneath clothing.

Care for this set by either hand washing in cold water or placing inside of a lingerie bag on the gentle cycle of your washing machine. Be sure to hang or lay flat to dry. Store how you would store the rest of your lingerie.
