Officer costume - sexy costume by Leg Avenue - review by redheaded

I was so excited to read that now we can review lingerie as well as DVDs as contributors! I thought this costume would be cute for my hubby since he is a cop and I love dress up. I happened to get it right around Christmas time. He saw it and said "uummm when are you putting this on?". I took the advice on the listing and had already bought some black fishnet stockings to go with it. They really finished the look nicely.

So I zipped myself into my dress, added the stockings, some sexy pink pumps and some bright red lipstick. The dress fit perfectly. It's stretchy and has a great soft feel to it. The zipper was perfect to make my breasts pop out. The dress needs to be very fitted to achieve the proper look in my opinion. The hat is beyond cute and perfect for piling all your hair in so you can rip it off (like a sexy cop stripper lol). The baton and cuffs were nice little props to carry. They are just for looks though. I would suggest that if you plan on actually using some cuffs, add your own 'real' metal ones.

Needless to say the whole costume was a big, giant hit with my husband as well as with me. My only issue was that I wish the patch was sewn on a little better. I was scared it would rip off. I have a few expensive outfits that I've bought and they are no where near as nice as this one. The dress is made of a great quality material. The baton was a little banged up from shipping but I was able to pop the dents back out. The hat I just smoothed out and it was good to go.

It says hand wash which is what I would do anyway...well hand wash on the washing machine :D The patch on the hat is fine and I was surprised with how well the hat stayed on. I gained a few pounds over (blah) the holidays so I could probably wear an XL now but usually I'm a large. This is a M/L. It was fitted but in my opinion this type of outfit looks best fitted. And even better with some curves :P I don't think it looks as good on the mannequin as it does on the real person (in the pictures).
