Fishnet knee highs with ruffle and bow - knee highs discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by Ryuson

I can't believe how I lived without these 'socks' (They aren't pantyhose, they aren't tights...)! They are the most recent addition to my wardrobe, and I LOVE them! It's a wonderful way to add a little bit of sexy and pizazz to an ordinary outfit. These are meant to be worn either slightly below or slightly above the knee, depending on the length of your calves and personal preference; I preferred them above the knee because of the way they fit. I found that they were a bit more secure farther up because of the elastic, and I also felt more sexy with them up higher.

These will fit almost everyone's legs since the only restricting measurement is the area right above your knee (That area is about 16 inches in circumference on me, and they were tight but not unpleasantly so). They were very comfortable and I have quite large thighs. Wearing them above my knee, they were stretched out to about 2 feet long, but if you have longer legs they will easily accommodate that!

These look wonderful and feel even better! Being fishnets, they look a little bit sexy and sultry, but the short length and playful bows lend an innocent feel. They're very stretchy, and the lace isn't itchy or uncomfortable at all. My toes began to poke through the fishnets after a long walk, but it was easy to dislodge them since I was wearing open toed shoes. I did end up with the fishnet snagging on my backpack zipper pull, but I untangled it and a crisis was averted. I'm super tough on hosiery but these survived a long, hard day full of bumps and scuffs and don't look a bit worse for it!

Weather or not you're using them as an addition to some sexy little lingerie or paired with some casual shorts to sexy up a Monday, you can wear these anywhere. The low length of this hosiery set allows for your thighs and intimate regions to be accessed, and my boyfriend loved the way the fishnets felt on my legs.

On the top of the stockings there is what looks to be a garter attachment that is made of a silky, black fabric that guarantees that your sexy socks won't creep down your legs. It's sewn onto the stocking very securely and has a LOT of stretch to it. The lace around the stocking is snowy white and the details and fishnets themselves are dark black; it's very true to the picture! Again, this feature would be great in the bedroom or for practical out and about use.

I tossed these into the washing machine for the first time today and made a big mistake; I forgot to close my lingerie bag. So my poor pantyhose and underwear had to roll around with the rest of my clothes! One of my new pairs of thigh highs was ruined and running but these, the lacy fishnets, were in perfect condition. The bows and lace were still secure, and there were no tears or runs in any of the material. I laid them flat to dry and am still very happy with them.

I wore these with a black skirt for my first day of college, and I was amazed! Even my knee high socks didn't stay up as well as these did! I only had to adjust these once, and that was around 5 PM (I put them on at 8). I had the lace flip down over the bow once or twice, but I simply smoothed it out and it stayed in place great after that.

I can not recommend these more highly. If they made these in an assortment of colors, I'd buy two of each and a pair for all of my friends; I already know what my female friends will be getting as part of their Christmas gift! If you think that you would like these at all, BUY THEM!

After wearing these several times a month, washing them in a lingerie bag, and hanging them dry, they finally got snagged and tore. The reason that they got snagged was because the zipper on one of my boots got stuck on the opposite legs stocking and tore. While this may sound like a good way to tear these, this happened several other times in the same boots before WITHOUT them tearing, so these are SUPER tough!

I came back on here to order more, but found that they've been discontinued! I still see them on the Leg Avenue site, so I may just have to find another vendor to get these great, sexy knee highs from! Still a 5 star product!
