Heart mesh bra with tanga shorts - bra and panty set discontinued by Coquette - review by Carrie Ann

I was browsing the site, looking for something to review, and decided to try some of the lingerie - mostly because I was curious about the quality and sizing. You just never know when you order online, you know?

So I chose the Heart Mesh Bra with Tanga Shorts and was quite happy when it arrived.

It's really cute and sexy! A very nice shade of pink - not too bright, not too pale - with just the right amount of black accent.

I ordered the extra large because I'm a size 14 and it's supposed to fit size 14/16. It's also supposed to fit D cup breasts.

Unfortunately it's a bit small in the top. I definitely overflow the cups a bit. Luckily it's not something you'd wear under clothes as practical, every day undies so overflowing isn't a real big deal and it fits just fine in the back.

The bottoms were also a bit snug but definitely wearable.

I wouldn't suggest this for someone who wears a sixteen, though. (Unless you're built majorly differently than I am. I'm big in the hips and boobs, small in the waist. If you're more equally proportioned it might work.)

The bra top is lightly padded with pretty black lace accents. The straps are also lace so they don't give a lot of support and I'm not sure how durable they're going to be but they're adjustable and super cute with their little pink bow accent. The back strap is mesh with a satiny edging.

The bottoms are also mesh with satiny edging and they look terrific on. Tanga bottoms do WONDERS for the butt. :)

All in all I'd say I'm happy with this. The sizing chart is really accurate other than cup size so I'd feel good ordering more of the Coquette brand. It's put together decently and I'll do a follow up review after a few washings and wearings to let you all know how it holds up.

My fiance LOVES it, btw. Definitely sexy, flirty and fun.

So far this set is holding up very well. I've worn it three times which means three washings for the panties and one for the bra and there has been no obvious wear and tear, fading or stretching.

The only thing I have noticed is, when putting the bra on, if you pull too hard on the back straps you hear a very small stretching/ripping sound out of the mesh. No actual rips and it's still fitting fine but I'm more cautious about how I put it on since hearing the noise.

We're quite pleased with this set. Definitely turning out to be a good value for it's price since it's durability is matching it's sexiness!
