Gathered mesh bra and gartered skirtini - bra and panty set discontinued by Coquette - review by Valyn

The Gathered Mesh Bra and Gartered Skirtini (which totally needs a hotter, shorter name) is a very sexy addition to anyone's collection. It's black and neon green, and black mesh covers the green. There are two very bright ribbons on the skirt, and inside out, the rest of the green is about the same shade as the ribbons. Now, let's get to the specifics...

The top:
The top is pretty much a bra, actually, under-wires and all. My set is medium, and the top is pretty loose around my body. The bra cups seemed sort of one size fits all, or at least are shaped well enough that they cover the nipple easily. In the middle of the cups there is a small green ribbon with the signature Coquette metal lips dangling from it. One small issue I had with the straps is that one comes loose. The bra straps are attached to the back by plastic rings, and one of them loosens a little and the strap just slips right out. I may actually remove the rings and just sew the strap onto the back of the bra, or replace them with something sturdier.

The bottom:
The bottom is the flirtiest and naughtiest part of the outfit. The skirtini almost covers my whole ass (not that mesh is really "covering" much). In the skirt is an attached thong, which for some reason, I wasn't expecting. But, that too, fits just fine. The whole back of the skirt (and top for that matter) is just black mesh, not green. A handy feature about the skirtini is that the garter straps are removable, so you don't have to wear the outfit with stockings or have garter straps dangling on your thighs.

The tag on the bra says that the outfit is 90% polyester, 10% spandex, excluding the touches of bright green trim. It also says that it's all hand wash only.

This is something I would probably not wear out, because to me, it looks just too close to being underwear. However, I do have a Coquette bustier in the same shade of green, and I may someday wear the bustier and the skirtini out together. It's a very sexy outfit, and I'll admit - I have tried it on a few nights randomly, just to look in the mirror and feels like a porn star. :)

The mesh bra actually is not wearable anymore. One of the plastic rings that hold the bra straps popped off and broke. Until I get a metal replacement or something, I can't wear the top. However, I can still mix up the bottom with this bustier.
