Black sequin dress - mini dress discontinued by DreamGirl - review by Cori

The sequin dress from Dream Girl lingerie is a sexy little number that is sure to draw attention to you, wherever you are. This dress is just barely long enough to be considered a dress and short enough to be worn as a top with jeans or leggings. It will be perfect for a night out or a night in. It's incredible versatile and would compliment any wardrobe!

Material: The sequin dress is made of 100% polyester. It comes in three colors: Black, Sapphire (blue), and Ruby (red). I ordered the black. The pattern is solid and the dress in entirely covered in sequins that are each individually sewn to the fabric.

Sizing: This dress comes in three sizes: small, medium, and large. I ordered a medium - I wear a 34B and have a 29 inch waist typically wearing a size 5 in pants. The medium fit well, although the dress lands not much farther than where my ass cheeks end. But this is a mini dress. The dress is just slightly stretchy throughout the body to make a flattering fit but don't expect a lot of give - this is a dress where going up a size won't hurt. The armholes are elasticized and stretch nicely to fit your shoulder and arms. Supposedly the "cup size" will fit most, but I think women will large breasts maybe be a little suffocated in this number - the material is slightly stretchy but not enough to accomodate much larger than a C in the medium.

Quality: This dress is surprising well-made. I was worried about sequins since tops I've had before have lost lots of sequins during wear or been itchy. But, the sequins are securely fastened to this dress with plenty of thread while still feeling comfotable and relatively light. The elastic lining the arm and neck holes make the dress comfortable and snug. I couldn't find any blunders in the hems and no loose threads. I'd say this dress is constructed very nicely and should be able to get my through quite a few wears.

I've worn this dress twice now and I must say that I prefer to wear it with jeans or leggings due to its super short length. However, I still think it looks really cute. But sadly, it won't be my New Years Eve dress I was looking for.
