Sexy without the Obvious Femininity

I love being girly, but sometimes that routine gets old. I always love being sexy though. This set allows that! It is very comfortable to wear and flatters nicely as well. If you are a fan of fishnet, you have got to add this to your lingerie collection!

extremely useful review
One of the first pieces of lingerie that I reviewed was this fishnet dress. I loved it! The fishnet is actually more like fencenet but thicker, so it feels really nice quality and won't cause any unsightly bulges of soft skin to swell through. This fishnet dress and pantie combo looked like it might be the same material and since it is from the same company, Coquette, I thought it would be a good buy. I was right!

*Contents/overview: Two pieces

This two piece set from Coquette includes a fishnet mini-dress with a matching pantie thong. The sizing is good for the mini dress and the thong...surprisingly. It seems that those never fit as good! The material is the best part. It's great!

*Material: Excellent

For some reason, a lot of stretchy Coquette products have a smell right out of the box. Perhaps because of the spandex (latex)? It does kind of smell like birthday balloon rubber. This goes away when you wash it though. It is made of 90% polyester and 10% spandex (trim may cause irritation for those with severe latex allergies). The material feel rough when not on, but when the netting is stretched over a body, it becomes very smooth and comfortable.

*Design/craftsmanship: Excellent

The main piece is the fishnet mini-dress. Again, the netting is larger than fishnet and smaller than fencenet, but thicker than both. It is quite unique and not something you will find in low quality or cheap items. When pulled down properly it sits right below my butt and it stays there for the most part since the bottom has a band of spandex that keeps it tighter.

The front has a plunging neck line that, depending on your height and torso length, will end about your belly button. There is no bust support other than the tightness holding you up. I have D's and this was adequate for me. If you have smaller breasts you actually might feel that you are less supported due to it fitting looser. Holding the plunging neckline together are two pieces of spandex. They criss-cross over each other. On me they laid in a nice place on my chest.

The straps are like wife-beater tank. and go to the back as such. Instead of the beck being solid however, there is a large oval cut out showing more sexy skin. The fishnet pattern is the same throughout the piece.

The panties are a regular string bikini thong except the crotch is smaller than what you might consider standard. There is no pantie liner.

Both parts to this set have very nice finished seems. It is constructed very well and doesn't require the same delicate care that traditional fishnet might.

*Cleaning/care/storage: Hand wash/box

The tag says to hand wash. In my experience this is best because while the fishnet is stronger than most, it still can get hooked on something in the washer machine. It is also best to drip dry. It does not take long to do this.

The set comes in a black reusable cardboard box that opens on the side. The front has a picture of a model showing the front of the outfit and the back has the opposite. If you don't want to keep the box, you can hang it up easily or fold it just the same. It comes with hanging ribbon, but I cut those off since they could be seen when wearing.
Experience
*Sizing: Runs a tad small

I love Coquette products because they have generally fit me really well. With their dresses, I often fit best in a medium, but it is sometimes too short (probably due to my chest). Since this looked short to begin with I went ahead and got the large. I pleased with the form fit. The panties even fit really well. But based on my measurements compared to the chart, this means that this runs a bit small.

I weigh ~150 pounds (size 8/10); curvy but fit. The large size says it fits a 12-14 dress size, C cup, 38-40" bust, 30-32" waist, 40-42" hip. It fit me like a glove, but I am at the low end of these with the exception of the bust. This is more like a M/L.

Like I said, this was very form fit. It wasn't too tight or too lose anywhere. If anything, it was a bit lose in the tummy and tightest around my upper legs. But none of this was that annoying. It stretched very nicely but did help shape me a bit in the hips and butt. I really like that this piece has less of a girly feel than a lot of mine. It would be good for gals who like to look sexy without all the bows and tiny bits of fabric.

MY RE-DONE SIZING CHART:

Dress: 10-12
Cup: B-D
Band: 34-36"
Waist: 30"-32"
Hips: 38-41"

*Conclusion: 5 Stars

I love this piece as much as the first one I tried. I just love the material. Again, I love this this is sexy without being obviously feminine. It is made well, feels comfortable, and flatters nicely. 5 stars!
Follow-up commentary
This lingerie dress is great! It has held up well, fits wonderfully, and looks sexy. I love pairing it with bright panties and bras. It can even be hidden under other dresses if they are of a harder, thicker material. I recommend it to any woman looking for a sexy, durable, and hot dress!
