Babydoll and g-string - babydoll and panties set by Coquette - review by TameTemptress

I don't normally like flyaway babydolls. I have had two children and pregnancy has done a number with battlescars on my belly. I fell in love with the sleeves on this one though, and I absolutely adore Coquette's red with black lace overlay. It's just a stunning combination and so elegant.



This is a two piece set, featuring a flyaway babydoll, and a g-string.



The baby doll has cups made of red satin, with a black lace overlay. Mesh lace for the capped sleeves, and for the rest of the babydoll. The black mesh lace features ruffles around the edges. I'm not much for ruffles, but I like them here. They also give a little bit more coverage to keep me less worried about showing off my problem area. The bodice is adorned with a black satin bow, that is removable if you so choose. Simply unhook it. You can easily pin it back later.



I purchased the XL. In this set, you have the option of OS, or XL. I am a total pear shape and could probably get away with OS on the top for some items, but I definitely need an XL for the bottom. The top (mainly the cups) have an odd fit for me. They are padded, but don't offer much support, and I guess my 38B is a bit too small to really fill this out correctly. It does fit, but maybe the smaller size would have worked better. An XL for Coquette is meant for D cups, which I certainly am not endowed with.

The panties are very pretty. Usually I find these sets coming with basic black, which is fine, I like basic black, but this set steps it up a little and the panties match the top perfectly (which means you could also wear them with the babydoll Coquette makes that has a similar red/lace thing going!). The panties fit my 44" hips perfectly, and they do have a bit of stretch to them.

An XL should fit a size 14 - 16, and the panties are meant for 44-46" hips.

I still think this babydoll is very sweet, and while I don't wear it often I do enjoy it when I do wear it. I love the red with the black lace overlay and the capped sleeves are quite cute.
