The Halter Underwire Teddy by Leg Avenue is a quality, sexy garment and would fit well on small, average, or curvy body types. This teddy is a polyester/spandex blend and has a good amount of stretch to it. Enough stretch to fit over my tummy comfortably, even though the Leg Avenue Size Chart suggests I wear a 1X or 2X because of my waist. Because of the material, it should be hand washed and not put through the washer or dryer. It should not be ironed. This material is sheer and has a solid pattern. It's a mesh with girdle stitching, which flatters the figure. The bottom is a bikini and the top is a halter which is lightly padded and has underwire inside. It has a hook and eye closure. It has a soft, smooth feel and has a new, clean smell which would go away with washing.

The design is gorgeous. The mesh is thick and layered in the boob and crotch areas, and it leaves a bit to the imagination. The rest is mesh and sheer and shows off the curves of your body through the special girdle stitching. It highlights just the right areas and has a slimming effect. The bottom is high-cut to show off the thighs, and the top is low-cut to show off the boobs. I love the way it looks on me and how it makes me feel! Dark, mysterious and ultra-sexy.

It is sized well, surprisingly, and fits my curvy body. The stretchy mesh will accommodate larger stomachs and behinds while still fitting nicely and staying comfortable for long periods of time. The strap that goes around the neck is adjustable, as is the hook and eye closure. This should make finding the right fit somewhat easier. The top is sized a bit small, saying it is a B-C cup. I am on the busty side, and had trouble staying in. Of course, your partner may not mind your boobs popping out. While sitting still, my boobs do stay in place and are pretty well supported by the underwire. However, another thing to consider is that the bottom, while advertised as a bikini style, is fairly narrow and on larger behinds it will slide between your cheeks like a thong would. Not much you can do about that except for to pull it back out. I chose to leave it, as it didn't bunch up too bad, still looked nice, and wasn't too bulky. Plus I'm not sure how much my partner would enjoy me stopping to pull out my wedgie! Just two things to ponder if you are on the curvy side. These are my only complaints, and they are minor. In all, it fits great and is very sexy on me and I would imagine it would be on many other body types. It would look best on someone who is clean-shaven as it all shows through, and even the smallest bit of stubble pokes out through the mesh. This feels pokey and prickly.

You could wear this as most would, just in the bedroom, but because of the style you could easily wear it comfortably under your clothes as well. It feels nice and gives a bit of excitement and an air of naughtiness to your typical day! Then when the time is right, strip down and give your lover the surprise of their life!

It is high quality. I don't see any imperfections, and it looks like it will last quite some time. This will be worn many times in the future, I am sure. A new favorite, and a great way to start off my lingerie collection!

As lovely as this looks on me, the wedgie factor bothers me more than it used to. When friction is involved, it can get a little uncomfortable because of the mesh material. The top is also quite small for a large teddy. In order to wear this during sex, you have to pull the crotch area to the side and again, the mesh can rub you the wrong way. I stand by everything I said in my review, but I now believe now that it is best to be worn during foreplay, or only during quick sex sessions. I would recommend it to anyone who finds the design appealing, as it would fit many body types. However, buy this with the intention of wearing it before, not during sex.
