Powernet flocked bra - bra discontinued by Coquette - review by arewehavingfun?

I own the high rise panty" that coordinates with this bra. The panty is comfortable, beautiful and sexy. The panty is everything this bra is not, including well fitting. This is a perfect example of "looks can be deceiving" because although the bra looks exactly like the picture on EF, it is not at all attractive (on or off the body).

The first problem is that my C cup breasts did not fit in this AA cup bra. I ordered, and received, a 38C and even before I tried it on I was surprised at how small the cups looked. The cups are padded on the bottom half and sheer on the top part. The bottom of the cups and the 2" band are a nice material of velvet flowers and a satin background--the color is a black on black. the wide band is sheer mesh and has 4 strong hooks and eyes for center back closure (traditional bra hooks). The narrow, adjustable straps are a velvet stretch material and are very soft and very stretchy, hence they offer nothing in the way of support. There is an underwire around each cup.

I can not say if the bra offers any support because my breasts did not even come close to fitting in these tiny cups--they remind my of my teen age neice's training bra because they are so small. I like the wide band that goes around the back because it prevents any back fat from showing and holds everything in place (except the breasts). Why have beautiful, voluptuous breasts just to have them squished into flat cups? These cups are not even designed in such a way to give you some nice cleavage. Think "ballerina" flat!!

In the front of the bra, in-between the cups, there is a very large medallion. It is a black circle with a 2.5" diameter and it is surrounded by black and black/white gingham ribbon bows. In the center of the circle is a silver metal non-descript design. I find it not at all attractive and was happy to see that it is attached by a removable pin, which I did. It didn't do anything to make this more attractive.

There is a tag in the bra that notes the material is 100% polyester and needs to be hand washed and line dried. I did place it in a lingerie bag and machine washed it in the machine and it was not damaged. It is not pretty and not constructed for "real breasts". I won't be wearing this again because it just didn't fit my breasts and I can not in good conscience recommend this to any women. It is a major disappointment and the only silver lining in this cloud is that I received it at no cost for this review.

My experience with this bra was not positive. It has no room for breasts of any size, never mind my "C" cups. I am so disappointed in this bra--it is well made but so poorly fitting. It must have been designed by a man because no thought went into the design to account for the primary purpose of a bra being to hold and support breasts.

I still don't care for this bra. It is not sexy and there is no room for breasts. I think it would be fine for a young girl who is very small and her breasts are just budding. If you are larger than an A cup you'll have to pass on this one. But don't feel bad...it isn't even pretty.
