Polka dot corset - corset discontinued by Coquette - review by butterflygirlxo

This beautiful black and pink polka dot corset is made from 82% nylon and 18% spandex. Coquette has done an amazing job on this corset. It's so beautiful and comfortable. Unlike most of the corsets/bustiers I own, this is stretchy and can be worn for long periods. I'm excited because I can wear this out in public. The boning is not tight at all. My love for Coquette continues to grow! This is my second piece from them, and I'm turning into a big fan. Their lingerie is always really good quality...I can't wait to wear this out!

If you look at the main picture of this corset on Eden, it appears that this corset is strapless. However, it is not. It comes in a halter type style. If you look at the rest of the pictures you will notice the halter top. I'm guessing that they tucked the straps down into the corset as they are not removable. The only things removable on this are the garters and the bows. A few people have asked about this on the product page. This corset comes with 3 bows, all of which are the same size and removable. The cups on this corset have padding in them, so you do not need to wear a bra with the piece. However, there is no underwire. For me, this was not a problem because I only wear a 32B.

When I received this product, it came wrapped in plastic on a black padded hanger that read "Coquette." I was a little upset when I received this because the ruffles and bows were smashed. It turned out to not be a huge problem as it was easily fixed by wearing the corset and washing it a few times (this corset has to be hand washed).

Also please note that the boning in this is very stretchy, so if you are looking for a piece to shape you, I would skip this one.

I still love this polka dot corset, and it's still holding up well after many uses! I just love it. It's so cute and comfortable, and I get so many compliments on it! If you love pink, and you are a big fan of polka dots, I think you should get it!
