Florence gown - gartered mini dress discontinued by DreamGirl - review by Jul!a

The packaging on this one was actually really nice with it's black and silver color scheme. There's a picture of the model on the front and the back, along with the size (one size), materials (95% Nylon and 5% Spandex), and washing instructions (hand wash in cold water, don't bleach, line dry).

DreamGirl is apparently very hopeful with their One Size Fits Most sizing, listing measurements like a size 2-14, a cup size of B-C, a bust of 32-38", waist of 24-32", hips of 34-40", an inseam of 35", and a weight of 60-160 pounds. I'm about 5'2" and weight about 120. I have a solid B cup at 32" around with no bra, under my bust is about 28 1/2", around my waist is about 29". Around my hips is about 35" and around my butt is about 39". This fit me well enough, but definitely had the potential to fit me better. This piece is definitely geared towards the larger end of the spectrum.

What you're getting here is a mini dress with attached stockings. The body of the dress and the stockings are both a floral lace; very see through and almost the perfect combination between rough and soft. The trim at the top of the stockings and the "straps" of the dress are also a floral lace pattern, only with finished edges.

The stockings themselves will fit a decent variety of legs. Because of my height they don't come up as high as they could because gravity pulls them back down to hang from the attached garter strap. I did manage to pull them up to about 25 1/2" from my heel and at that point they feel a little tight. My thighs are about 20 1/2" around where I got them pulled up the highest, and they cut in a little bit here. Not enough to really be felt, but enough to be seen slightly. I would be careful if you're more than 22" around. If they're pulled tight on you the ankles won't bunch, but with some slack you'll also get bunchy ankles. They attach the the dress in the front and the back with 6" strips of lace.

The dress itself is about 16" from the hem to the top of the back, and about 23" from the hem to the top of the cups. There is some stretch though, so if you're a little taller then it's not a big deal. There's nothing to support larger breasts, and I can't figure out exactly whether a longer or shorter torso would be better for this, because on me at least my breasts don't want to stay in. This can be easily remedied by shortening up the strap that runs down the back of the dress, making the cups sit higher. If you're wondering what I mean by that strap, the straps on this dress is one piece of lace that goes around the back of your neck in a halter style and one piece that connects the back of that to the top of the back of the dress. On me, it falls right below my butt, but can still be lifted up enough to not get in the way of sex. Doggy style might still be a bit difficult, but other than that most positions should still work.

Since the whole thing is one piece, it can be a bit awkward to get into. I found that the best way was to step down the inside of the body of the dress, put the stockings on, then pull the dress up and get the straps situated. It does feel well made and like it should last a while.

I do like this dress, but it just doesn't fit me right. I hate that my boobs keep popping out unless I pin the strip in the back. The rest of it fits me well enough, but not enough that I feel super duper sexy in it. When I can get everything to lay right on me, I feel smoking hot, even if it doesn't do anything for my breasts. But since I can't move much once I do get it to sit how I want, it doesn't seem worth it to me. It's a great buy if it fits you properly.
