Double dare 4-play - rabbit vibrator discontinued by NMC Ltd - review by Lucidity

This rabbit is, in my humble opinion, pretty much all you could want from a mid-priced rabbit; it is fairly basic, yet feels absolutely wonderful, and at the same time I had never seen a rabbit with disks, so I found it to be quite innovative (and the disks feel lovely indeed!). I think this is an ideal toy for ladies of all experience levels. It’s not huge, nor is it small but it is fairly filling, all the same. The Double Dare 4-Play is not intimidating looking in the least bit, but also not too cutesy, and it surely looks as good as it feels. This bouncing, pink bunny has a 100% waterproof guarantee (printed directly on the box and the "handle" of the toy), which is a godsend, because my favorite place to use it is in the bath and shower, so if it weren't completely waterproof, I would be S.O.L. by now! The DD4P stimulates the clitoris and inside of the vagina simultaneously for quite an exquisite feel that certainly makes my shower time much more enjoyable. The shaft has three settings (disks spinning up, disks spinning down, and a spinning up/down hybrid) and the bullet has two, which I might warn, may both be too strong for some. This puppy can get a bit sticky, but a tiny bit of lube cures that right up. It has a powerful motor in both the bullet and the shaft, which have separate controls and can be turned on or off separately by scrolling through the settings (which I find do be a big plus). The motors are both quiet enough to be covered up by the sound of running water, which also means that if you pop on the TV or some music, you can pretty much use it any time, in any setting, and may opt to do so. I have not used this with a partner, but there's no reason why you couldn't; it's a lot of fun.

The shaft and bullet are covered in clear TPR, and the control panel and battery pack are covered in your standard hard plastic. TPR isn’t the best for sharing, but it’s easy to clean, especially with it being waterproof. The TPR is firm yet soft, but it does tend to be a little sticky. I don’t find the stickiness to be much of a problem, and if I do, the tinniest bit of lube slicks things right up! It does really tend to collect lint, but it’s a good idea to wash your toys before each use anyway. There are “S” shapes down the right and left sides of the shaft, but I don’t really feel those, being as they’re not terribly raised and not in a spot where I think I would feel them anyway. I really didn’t notice any sort of smell from this toy, even when I sniffed it, and it has no taste, but I must admit, I do really like the way it feels in my mouth.

I truly adore the design and shape of this rabbit! I am giddy over the way it looks, I melt at the way it feels, and I’ll be damned if I don’t love the way it works! The shaft is covered in clear TPR, so that you can easily see the flower-shaped disks inside. There are multiple "S" shapes going up the right and left sides of the shaft; thought those seem like an odd spot for texture, they feel fine, but I wish they were on the front and back. I do wish that the rabbit were shorter or lower, but that’s just they way I’m shaped; it still get’s me just right. I think the size of this rabbit is ideal, at an insertable 5” with a 4 3/4” circumference.

I enjoy a great deal of thing about the Double Dare 4-Play, I really enjoy the fact that the rabbit doesn’t look too much like a rabbit, personally, the thought of a woodland creature going to town on my naughty bits gives me the heebie-jeebies. I’m also a huge fan of the fact that I can turn the shaft and bullet on separately; I can’t understand why you can’t do that on some rabbits. My favorite thing this toy, is that it’s waterproof; I know it’s not the most unique feature, but it’s something else that I just can’t fathom when it isn’t a standard one. The bullet delivers deep vibrations that may be too strong for some, but I'm not really complaining. I truly dig the feel material, it warms up quickly, gets wonderfully slippery and moves comfortably; it's squishy yet firm, looks nice and is easy to clean. The controls are easy enough to use; you just press the buttons and cycle through the functions; nothing special, nothing complicated. Also, the disks feel fairly unique and quite satisfying; they are powerful, quiet and they will not stop moving, even when I “squeeze” them as hard as I can. The only time they stop is when it’s time to change the batteries, then I do that, because it can do permanent damage to the motor if you mess with it like that.

The TPR is very easy material to clean. I generally use antibacterial soap and water, you can also use toy cleaner, or toy wipes. It can be kept in the plastic cylinder it comes in, or any other sort of bag or box you like to keep your toys in. TPR toys should be kept away from other soft toys, since they have a tendency to melt together, and that would be a tragedy. I keep mine wrapped in a cloth and wash it before each use, since it tends to attract a great deal of lint and stray fuzzies.
I probably err on the side of caution and only use water-based lube with this toy. It doesn’t really say if there is silicone in with the TPR, but who knows, plus, water-based lubes don’t stain the sheets!

I have to say that I looooove the packaging The Double Dare 4-Play comes in! It comes in a clear, plastic shell, the kind that makes it look like the rabbit is suspended. Nothing on the packaging is overtly sexual; the only thing is a girl in a tank-top on the back. The whole shabang really reminds me of a super fun and exciting Japanese toy! The instructions on the back are mostly in picture form, and everything has bright colors and silly fonts. The plastic shell could easily be used as a gift or storage box, and if I had bought this in a store, it would have surely caught my eye.
