I Double-Dare you not to love this!

This toy is, as far as I know, pretty innovative. It uses discs in a way that I haven't seen before, and provides very intense sensations that are different enough to warrant trying the toy even if you already have a few rabbits. It's not too big, and it's very cute too - so it's really well suited for anyone!

Use

This toy is, pretty much, an all inclusive rabbit-style vibrator. Its very friendly looking and the packaging is nice, but the product is good quality and has enough features to make it a great toy for everyone who enjoys rabbit-style vibrators. The Double-Dare 4 Play stimulates the inside of your vagina intensely, coupled with strong vibrations on your clitoris and the surrounding area. As an added bonus it's waterproof and rather quiet, so it could be used at nearly any time.

Material / Texture

This toy is made out of TPR Silicone in the body, and plastic for the control pad and battery compartment. TPR is not the safest material, but it's very easy to clean. It has almost no scent, and was only detectable to me if I sniffed the toy, and it had no real taste. The toy is soft, but firm enough to give you the full impression of its size. It also has swirls and spirals going down both sides of the toy, and these add a bit of stimulation, but not enough to be overwhelming. I would say the texture is soft enough to be effective for any type of user - if you're not a texture person, it doesn't stand out so much to make the toy unusable for you.

Design / Shape / Size

I found the design of this toy to be rather nice. It's very easy on the eyes, and the fact that the toy is clear allows you to see the interesting inner-workings of the toy. It's a basic phallic shape, with swirls and spirals down the sides of it, and it works quite well. It's not overly realistic, but the size is kept within very realistic realms. I wouldn't recommend it for virgins, but most people will find the size to be satisfying, yet not too much.

However, including the part of the toy that doesn't penetrate you, the toy is rather cumbersome and can be hard to hide due to this fact. It's not too loud, and this makes it discreet for use, but it may be difficult to travel with this toy. The buttons are a bit sensitive so you would have to store the batteries outside the toy - it does come with a battery holder though, so you could just pop them back in and be ready to go.

Its size does still present a challenge, but I am sure if you wanted to it could be hidden in a large purse or a carry-on sized bag.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy has a lot of functions. First, the head moves around which is standard on most rabbits. Second, it has a clitoral stimulator that vibrates - also standard. The third feature of this toy is the interesting one, and one I've not seen in any other toys. It has a row of shaped discs inside the shaft that rotate, creating a sensation that could be compared to rotating beads - but it's very, very different.

The discs are carved in somewhat of a 3d-helix shape, and it's very difficult feeling to describe. Depending on the level of insertion for this toy, it can either intensely stimulate the opening of the vagina, or possibly brush against the g spot. I had no problems with the discs jamming or stopping, but it is possible they may stop if the batteries die down enough; in that case, you should replace the batteries to prevent damage to the motor.

The controls are convenient enough - there is a power button to turn it on the lowest levels, or off entirely if you need to stop at a moment's notice. There are two buttons, and one of these controls the vibration of the rabbit, the other controls the rotation of the discs and the head of the toy. There is a high speed and a low speed for the rabbit, but no functions for the rabbit. The rotation can be reversed, and it can be put on a pattern that switches the rotation direction, with a pause in between the switch each time. The lowest speed on this toy is rather strong, and while the vibrations are no Hitachi, I'd wager they would be enough for most people - they were for me. They are a nice medium pitch vibration, and the rotation has a rather fast speed.

The lowest speed on the toy is surprisingly quiet. There's only a slight mechanical sound of the discs and head of the toy turning, but these are easily covered up by music, tv, or a fan. Obviously if you turn the rabbit to the higher speed it will get louder, but I found that it was still surprisingly quiet compared to other rabbits.

This toy is waterproof, but the packaging warns (in tiny print) not to submerge the toy. It says it should only be exposed to water via use in the shower, or when cleaning the toy. It did survive a few trips to the shower, but I recommend following their caution not to submerge the toy, and as I quite like the toy, I did not submerge it.

Care and Maintenance

TPR is very easy to clean, you can use soap and water, antibacterial toy cleaner, or toy wipes. No further care is required, and it can be kept in the plastic cylinder it comes packaged in or in a plastic bag. Since it is TPR it should be kept away from other soft toys. Some toys will melt or fuse when they come into contact with each other, and it's better to be safe than sorry.

I would only recommend using water based lube with this toy. It is not listed as TPR silicone, but it's rather sparse on the details as far as what exactly they put in their TPR blend, and the material feels and looks the same as another toy I have which is made out of TPR silicone. In this case, I think it's best to take the safe route and stick to water based lubricants.

Packaging

The packaging is very cute! It comes in a plastic cylinder which has a cardboard insert inside it, behind the toy. It does have the typical porno starlet, but only on the back. The front has a cute design, touting the features of the toy. Most of the documentation is on the back of the cardboard insert. It includes a barrage of disclaimers in every language you can think of, it lists the material, says it's a novelty only, and warns about submerging the toy. It also notes how to insert the batteries, and a graphical explanation of the rotating discs inside the toy.

I think that the cylinder could easily be reused for storage, if you have the space. It could be used as a gift box if you wrapped it up - I think it'd be an interesting shape beneath a Christmas tree. It's still cute without wrapping, but it doesn't provide a luxury presentation or anything- just cuteness.

Personal comments

I rather enjoyed this toy, I think the rotation feature is a great change from beads, which are much more subtle than these discs. It's amazing to me that they managed to fit that in as well as the rotation on the head. You should note that this toy takes AAA's, not AA's, and as such I'm not sure about the battery life. It does get a good bit of power out of them, but I had to make a trip to the store since I was 100% out of AAA's when the toy got here. Just something to keep in mind before you get it.

Experience

A bit of a personal warning- if you 'squeeze' the toy internally, it can get quite a bit louder during use. It's still not too bad compared to the jackhammer-like rumble of many of the other rabbits I own, though.
