Using alone or with a partner, it's perfect for clitoral stimulation, but you can also enjoy some vaginal penetration with this little guy! It can also be used to tease the nipples. It's a great toy for foreplay with your partner or for some solo fun.

Anyone would enjoy this toy from beginner to advanced.

This Shots Toys egg is made of velvety plastic, an "8" on EdenFantasys.com's safety rating. It is non-porous and phthalate-free. While its surface is hard, it's smooth to the touch and feels great. There is a slight plastic-y odor to this toy (which is completely non-offensive) and it does not attract lint or dust.

I have the Orange egg, but it also comes in Pink, Black, Purple or Green.

The egg is about 3" long and 1.25" wide. The cord is about 3.5" long.



The design of the egg itself is nice; it's a great size and comfortable to hold. When using to stimulate the clit, I could not hold the egg and the button in one hand and still be able to push the button. And I like to think I'm pretty coordinated. I had to use my other hand, which is a huge downer for me. My other hand likes to do its own thing and this aspect of the toy really put a damper on that. However, this would not be an issue if my husband were using it on me. But then, he wouldn't have his other hand free to do whatever else he wanted!

Knowing what I know now, I probably should've opted for the remote-controlled version of this toy.

If using for just vaginal penetration, it's very comfortable and easy to play with. It's a great size for penetration, not too big or too small. It can be inserted like a tampon (and likewise, removed) for some good fun.

There are 10 functions that are controlled from the small push button at the end of the 3.5" long cord.

00: OFF
01: low, steady buzz
02: medium, steady buzz
03: high, steady buzz
04: quick, rhythmic pulses
05: pulses; 4 medium then one high
06: steady accelerating up then steady accelerating back down
07: escalating pulses up
08: quite a medley, here: 5 pulses; 5 quicker pulses; then a subtle, up/down pulse
09: medium, steady buzz, then 9 pulses
10: high, steady buzz, then 25(ish) fast pulses

What's great is that when you're done, no need to cycle through all those functions to turn it off. Press and hold to turn it off and you're good to go.

This egg is also pretty quiet. No one could hear it outside my door, and certainly not if I were using it vaginally.



The egg uses 2 AAA batteries, and came with two for "free". Which is great because it will blow through them. Having had this for a month or so, I've used this 5 or 6 times, and did not remove batteries. I went to use it recently and it was dead. Boo!

This Shots Toys egg is very easy to clean. Soap and warm water or toy cleaning wipes. The egg has a thick O-ring and as it is waterproof, you should feel comfortable giving it a nice cleaning.

One note about that O-ring: Be careful when closing the battery compartment that you don't bunch up the O-ring.

The box doesn't make for great storage, as it'd be a pain to get it in and out of that clear plastic time after time. I store it in a silk pouch. Given my experience with battery life, you may want to consider taking the batteries out when storing it.

Any kind of lubricant (oil, water, silicone) is compatible with this egg.

The egg came in a cute pink and white box; very fresh & clean design. The product, held in place by clear plastic, was visible from an opening in the front. Nice looking call-outs on the front bringing attention to its velvety coating, included batteries, variety in functions, phthalate free nature and waterproof characteristics.



The back pretty much repeated everything from the front, with the addition of the instructions for use (see inset below). They really push the free battery aspect. That should be a red flag. I also got a kick out of "The cord is also for easy removal of the egg from its package." Design product for usability in and of itself, not for removal from its package.
