I bought this vibe as a rechargeable alternative to my pikobong ako and was not disappointed. The strength is virtually the same and the slight flexibility of the toy is a plus for pinpoint or internal stimulation as well. The silicone is slightly more plush than the ako but it is completely velvet and smooth, and does not have loads of drag or collect dust fibers like lower grades of silicone.

I wash this toy (carefully) with mild soap and water, and take care to avoid submerging the battery end of it, as it is not labeled as a waterproof toy. I also only use water-based lubricants with this toy, as it is silicone and oil or silicone-based lubes WILL break down the toy. One other point I have to admit I was skeptical about, was the the battery life of this toy. I use my vibrators for an upwards of 40 minutes or longer and with the Perfect Companion, I can run it up to 4 uses before I have to plug it up and recharge it, which is fantastic.

The only reason I did not award this 5 stars is for the lack of steady vibration modes to the toy; it has over 30 functions but only 1 steady vibe setting. You also can't control the intensity of the toy, which can be a drawback if you don't want powerful vibrations right off the bat or you like to tease yourself into the more intense modes. Also, there is no memory setting for the 30 vibrations patterns, which can be overwhelming and a bit frustrating for the user, if they have a favorite but have to click through every single pattern each time they use it to find the one that makes them tick.

If you like a strong vibe, however, and don't care much about intensity levels, I highly recommend this product. esp. if you are a previous ako user.

After a few months of use, the perfect companion is still in perfect condition. No deterioration in quality or power has occurred; it is as strong as the first day I used it. I have gotten more than my money's worth with this purchase.
