Super twins - bullet vibrator by WHK GmbH - review by Sin Secret

As my first double-bullet toy, I was a little confused, at first, about how to use the Super Twins. The shape, look, and feel of the Twins is pretty okay, and the idea is pretty interesting. But I was just a little thrown off.

As far as the specifics go, the Super Twins is an interesting vibrator with two (attached) egg-shaped bullets that plug into a nicely shaped and textured remote.
It's made of hard plastic with a smooth velvety texture. It's red and has a nice shape. It takes two AA batteries, is latex free, and is really affordable.

I can't say enough how soft the texture of the controller is. It's so smooth I could just rub my fingers up and down the grooves all day.
There's definitely a scent there, though, and not exactly a good one. It's not something that will knock you out as soon as you open the package- I didn't even notice it until I was looking for it- but if it's up close to your nose, you'll definitely notice a smell something akin to new gym mats. Something plastic-y and acidic that I can't quite describe.

With the two egg-shaped bullets, the usage seemed, to me, a bit of a mystery. Using it during intercourse seemed a little silly because one bullet was always left abandoned to one side. But during solo play, using one for the clit and inserting the other (as I assume is what it's meant for) worked okay.
For me it was a little bit bland; maybe it's small size or super smooth texture just lowered the sensations for me. It was a nice feeling, but not enough to bring me too close to orgasm.
But if you know how to work with two bullets at once and that's what you're looking for, this would probably be worth it.

My typical problems with egg-bullets tend to revolve around the shape and the level of power, and these are no exceptions. The shape makes them hard to get a grip on, and the power level makes it hard to hold on to (especially once they get slick), and tend to make your fingers go numb.
The Twins manage to keep those problems a little bit at bay thanks to a rougher texture and a slightly more oblong shape.

The good part about this thing is that, like most bullets, it is really really strong. It's got four good settings, Low-Medium-High-and Super! That's a really great feature because it gives you something you want no matter what mood you're in. Something to love indeed.
It definitely packs a punch. If you're in the right state of mind it could take you there in minutes. Despite my confusion about what to do with "the other sister", it only took a few minutes in the right position to reach a pretty decent orgasm during sex.

Cleaning seems like it would be super simple, but unfortunately the Twins have a cleaning downfall. Each egg has this deep line right around the middle. I'm not sure why they're there because they don't twist open or anything, but they are really annoying when it comes to clean-up. Unless you spray it down with cleaner or water right after use, it seems to accumulate some kind of icky build-up inside the grooves that I'd definitely prefer not to have stuck in my toys.

I'm not too fond of egg-shaped bullets, but I have to say that if you're used to them or looking for something different, this is likely to do the job swimmingly. It's simple, smooth, strong, and fairly unique in the way it looks.

One problem I typically have with egg-bullets is that the shape (the lack of a tip-area) tends to keep the sensations all over the egg (hence the numb fingers), and none of it is focused in one area. This usually means that if you want to get in there, get pleasured, and get out- like me- this probably won't work that well for you unless you have a good and responsive clit.

My idea for toy-makers would be something along the lines of attachments.
One of my favorite toys right now is actually an egg bullet with an old silicone dolphin (from an old toy that I broke) fitted over it. The grip is better, my fingers are buffered a bit from the power level, and the vibrations go right to the nose. It works wonderfully!

I think it would be neat if companies sold specially-made attachments for bullets that you could buy in little sets, separate from the bullet, to mix and match your favorite designs and sensations. Much like the attachments they sell for the Hitachi Wand, except on a more basic (and affordable) scale.

I somewhat regret the negative review I first wrote for this toy. While I don't often use it during masturbation, and rarely ever use the second bullet; this toy has become the only product in my collection that's strong enough (on full batteries) to bring me to orgasm. At least without spending forever trying, exhausting myself, or giving me a headache. With a cute little silicone sleeve from an older toy, which I slip on to one of the two bullets, the sensations are wonderfully strong.

I still stand by the problems it has, like little to no direct stimulation, hands going numb, etc,. I can't help but love this thing for how strong it is, because that strength is hard to find elsewhere.
