Basic? Yes. Essential? Certainly not.

Not going to become a basic essential in my collection. While not a horrid product it certainly didn't live up to the standards some of the others in my collection have set. It worked satisfactorily, when it worked. It's selling feature for me was the fact that it was waterproof, and that I could take the nubbly sleeve off and essentially have two toys in one.
Waterproof, light-weight, removable sleeve.
If-y battery, weird nubbly sleeve.

extremely useful review
Unfortunately this product has been a HUGE disappoint for me, from start to the never quite finish. The first time I received the product I could not get the darn thing to turn on. I bought three new sets of batteries thinking I had just accidentally put in duds, but this didn’t fix it. I tried different sizes thinking that maybe I was a moron and reading it wrong and this was the problem, but no, still wouldn’t work. So I traded it for a new one. This one functioned better. If barely.

When I took it out of the package it had that new plasticy toy smell, but a quick rinse with soap and hot water quickly took care of that little problem. The material texture is made of TPR, which CANNOT be sterilized, but can be cleaned with hot water and mild soap. And you will need to clean it, I find that it picks up lint and dust and dog fur like nobody's business. This is why I recommended keeping it stored in the plastic container it came packed it, if you have room for it. So aside from basic and hygienic maintenance cleaning keep in mind that if you are planning on sharing please remember to use a condom. ☺ The package states clearly to use a water-based lubricant for maximum pleasure.

The technical specifications are pretty standard. The vibe measures in at approximately 6". In terms of insertable length it has about 5" for you to play around with, give or take. The circumference comes in at about 4 3/4" and the diameter is about 1 3/8" which isn’t too intimidating and would be a nice starting size for beginners, but still enjoyable for more advanced player. It’s fairly light, weighing in at 0.4 lb, so it wouldn’t be too cumbersome to take along with you in your overnight bag.

In terms of function it’s like any average vibrator. It takes one AA battery to power it up. You can feel those good vibrations by spinning the little dial top to reach your desired power level. It's not terribly loud, nothing a little music can't cover. I personally didn’t find the vibrations to be that strong. They worked, but they certainly didn’t wow me or knock my socks off. The majority of the vibration comes from the head, or the tip, depending on whether your toy is dressed or undressed, the nice thing about that is you can use it with a bit more power and accuracy. Those vibrations can be used to stimulate your clit, or you can insert it with all it’s nubby glory and go at it. Now I’m not a huge fan of the nubby sleeve, maybe its simply because it’s fairly new and foreign to me. I found the bumps to be more uncomfortable than pleasurable, but as a bonus you can peel the sleeve off and it becomes a smooth, tapered vibrator. (Note. I had a heck of a struggle getting the sleeve off. If you essentially roll it back it goes fairly quickly, but I am apparently inept and have had a heck of time getting it back ON. Thankfully I prefer the toy with the sleeve off). As a bonus this little darling it waterproof, it's redeeming quality, so take it in the shower and have fun. It worked decently well there, and didn't malfunction or fritz out, not to mention the water muffles sound. Bonus!
Just as a side note, and because it makes me giggle every time I look at this toy, I found the look of the nubby sleeve to be highly amusing… does anyone remember those little flip toys, where you pushed the top in, set it down and it flipped super high in the air? Yes? Awesome, because that’s what the head of this toy reminds me of with it’s smooth head, and distinctive ridge before moving on to being bumpy and nubby.
Follow-up commentary
It is so unbelievably frustrating when a product just doesn't work the way you want it to. It was a trial from the start to get this toy to work, let alone work for me. And as I've had more and more time to play with it it's worked less and less and given me more grief. I hope that others have a better experience with this product than I did.

I read your review and I don't quite understand why you rated it one star. Your review just makes the toy seem average, not horrid. However, an extremely useful review regardless. Smile

Mistress Kay- I understand where you are coming from. I rated it as a one, because it took me two toys, one electrician and several VERY disappointing attempts to actually MAKE it work. Once I got it started, it was exactly as you described it, an average toy. And since the review really only requests the nitty gritty of the toy, that's what I tried to include. Thanks for pointing that out however!! And glad you enjoyed it!
