Pink Alien Penis

If you like a lot of nubs than you'll love the Softee. If texture isn't your thing, your going to hate it. If your unsure if you'd like nubs or not, or new to TPR toys, this isn't a total loss. You can easily remove the TPR sleeve and have a classic vibrator.

Use

The first thing that comes to mind when I see this Softee is a pink alien penis. Don't ask me why! I think it may have something to do with the odd little nubs on this toy. The Softee is like your traditional vibrator and works for both clit stimulation and inserting.

When I took the Softee out of it's packaging I noticed there is a slight plastic/funk smell to it. However, with a good wash with soap and water I had no problems. When using the Softee I thought the texture of this toy would be fun, but, it wasn't. Even with extra lube I found the nubs or bumps on this toy to be prickly and uncomfortable. Maybe in time I'll come to like it, but for now I'm not a fan.

The great thing though is that the pink sleeve comes off and underneath is a regular vibrator! Smooth and tapered, I found the actual vibe underneath the sleeve to be more exciting. Don't get me wrong, I like some nubs/bumps/texture on toys, but this was just overkill for me.

Material / Texture

The toy has a slight chemical/plastic odor but I was able to get rid of it by washing it before playing. This toy is made with TPR, a material that cannot be sterilized. The texture may add extra stimulation for some, maybe more advanced users would enjoy it more than I did. If you like texture on your toys, you'll love it. If you don't like texture, don't waste you money. I would definitely say the texture of this toy is for advanced users. Or, beginners who simply enjoy funky textures.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of this toy is like your basic vibe. The Softee is 6" in length and 4 3/4 in diameter. I actually really like the length and diameter of this toy. It's not too large, but not too small. It gave me the sensation of being full inside, if that makes any sense at all. I wouldn't say this toy worked for me, but without the sleeve it did. I don't recommend this for beginners who are not use to length or girth. This toy is obviously a sex toy. This thing isn't discreet in any way, shape or form. You can travel with it, but it's not compact.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Overall this toy performs very well. The Softee has a very nice vibration that I could actually climax to. The vibrations are mostly located at the tip of the toy which is good for pin point stimulation and I found it really nice for pressing against the g-spot. The control is located on the bottom of the toy, it's a dial base that for the most part is easy and convenient to use. The toy is a little noisy, but nothing that a closed door and some background noise can't hide.

Worry about noise, take it in the shower. It IS waterproof. I fully submerged it in the tub and there were no leaks.

Care and Maintenance

Because this toy is TPR, that means it cannot be sterilized. Clean this type of toy with hot water and soap or a good brand of toy cleaner. I found that soap and water worked best for me, especially when it came to rinsing the sleeve. Remember, if your going to use this toy on a partner or friend you need to use a condom. I used a water based lube with this toy and it worked great. It was slick and really took well to the material. I didn't have any trouble cleaning the toy afterward. Silicone lubes can be used as well.

Packaging

The packaging is how I store my Softee. It's not too big, the toy sits in it really nicely. I've noticed that TPR finds a way to pick up little dust and lint particles like crazy! So storing it in a sealed container like the package or in a zip plastic baggy works really well.
Follow-up commentary
After a few more, well lubed tries, I'm convinced the nubs are just not for me. I threw out the sleeve, but I'm keeping the vibe! It still works great, and I prefer it smooth rather than bumpy.

Just a pet peeve of mine... 'your' does not = you are. You need to you the contraction 'you're'. Good info in here though.

How hard is it to remove and replace the sleeve?
    Nice review Smile

It wasn't too difficult, but it wasn't the easiest to remove either. I found that it's easier if you take the edge and pull it back, going all the way down to the tip. It will turn the sleeve inside out, but that's the easiest way to remove it.
