Hannah Harper's butterfly vibe - g-spot rabbit vibrator discontinued by Pipedream - review by Minxy

I picked Hanna Harper's Butterfly vibrator because it's Phthalates-free and looked like a good choice for a waterproof duel vibrator. I like the fact that it has two motors; one in the butterfly and one in the tip of the shaft. When it arrived there was a slight smell to the vibe that didn't seem to dissipate after being washed with soap and water. I'm happy to report that the smell did go away after a short time and I believe it was due to the plastic the toy is packaged in rather than the toy. The TPR silicone of which the toy is made is soft and a bit squishy. About four inches up the shaft there is a break or end to the solid core that makes the bulbous g-spot end very flexible, it can be bent in any given direction. This much flexibility is always somewhat of a concern to me because I believe that too much movement can inadvertently short out or pull internal wires loose.

My new "screaming hot pink" butterfly is pretty to look at and has a rather non-threatening appeal. It takes two double A batteries and is equipped with a nice plastic sleeve that slides out and houses the batteries,rather convenient for insertion and removal. I think it adds to the sound hampering quality. This Butterfly is very quiet and discreet even at it's highest setting. Speaking of settings, my butterfly friend has seven: three constant, graduating speeds and four pulsing and escalating. A simple on and off button at the very bottom is accompanied by a separate button for changing vibration modes as well as a light that very cutely keeps pace with the different pulses and vibrations.

As for functionality, how does the butterfly stack up? Well, pretty well. I would say the highest constant vibration is moderate, somewhere in the middle or a bit higher on a one to ten scale. Decent. The vibrations are equal in each end of the vibrator, shaft and clitoral butterfly. The same holds true for the pulsating patterns. While this vibrator doesn't knock my socks off, it doesn't disappoint either. I was able to have a nice orgasm with this toy, it wasn't the quickest and did take a little work but not much. One of my only dislikes was the smooth bumps on the g-spot bulb, although they look smooth they can be a bit abrasive going in. As far as the "dual" vibe functionality the clit stimulator lined up well while the shaft provided mild stimulation to the g-spot. Due to the flexibility in the Shaft that I mentioned earlier, I was able to contract my muscles around the shaft as much as I wanted without causing fluctuations in power or performance, nice! The properties here on Eden don't list this vibe as waterproof but the package does. As far as I can tell, Pipedream is holding true to their word. I've used this vibrator in the shower and I've also submerged it, it's still going strong and I've never found any water in the internal workings.

As far as lube goes, I think water is the way to go with this toy and of course if you're going to share then condoms are vital.

This toy was quite pleasurable in the shower,and as far as my bodily dimensions go, it works great as a dual vibe. This pink butterfly is so quiet, I had no worries if one of my kids had walked in. I'll be writing my follow up regarding hot tub use.

I'm happy to report Hanna Harpers butterfly vibe works just as well in a hot tub setting as it does on land with one exception, lubrication. When immersed in water waterbased lube quickly dissipates so reapplying becomes somewhat of a nuisance, the same holds true for pool usage. My husband and I just ended up using it just above the water line and it worked just fine. The butterfly sure adds some extra spice to a night in the hot tub though.
