Too Cute To Resist

I'm not usually a fan of rabbit vibrators, but there was something about the cute little butterfly attachment on this vibrator that was hard to resist. It's just so cute! Is it functional, though? Sort of... The vibrator isn't really powerful enough for me to get off, but it still provides some great stimulation.

Use

Hannah Harper's Butterfly vibrator is an excellent choice for both beginners and advanced users. This toy is suitable for both couples and solo play.

It's a smaller toy, so it's not going to be suitable for size queens. It's also not going to be a toy for those that don't care for dual stimulation; this is because this is a rabbit vibrator, which is meant to stimulate two areas at once.

The shaft of this toy is intended to be inserted vaginally, while the cute little butterfly stimulates your clitoris. The texture on the very head of the toy is supposed to stimulate your g-spot. For me, this toy did not reach my g-spot, and unfortunately the clitoral attachment did't really do a whole lot for me. That said, if this toy fits your anatomy, it'll be a great little rabbit vibrator.

If using this in its intended manner doesn't do a whole lot for you, don't worry! You can use this vibrator other ways as well.

For instance, you can use the textured head to stimulate your clitoris. The bumpy texture of the head felt great on my clitoris. You can also use the head of the toy to stimulate your bum.

You can use this toy in the bath or shower, as this toy is completely waterproof.

Those of you looking for a toy to thrust with might find yourself slightly disappointed. The main body of this toy just doesn't offer a whole lot to thrust with, and the butterfly (though flexible) just seems to get in the way. Still, the butterfly makes a nice handle if you want a toy that you can sort of rock with.

Material / Texture

The toy is made out of TPR silicone, which rates a 6 on Eden Fantasy's safety scale. The TPR on this toy is hypoallergenic, and both latex and phthalates free. You should keep in mind that, unlike 100% silicone, TPR silicone is slightly porous. This means that you cannot fully disinfect this toy, so if you plan to share it, be sure to use a condom!

This toy does have a faint odor, but I can't really smell it unless I put my nose right to it. The toy does not have any taste, as far as I could tell.

The main body of this toy is just smooth TPR silicone. There is a slight drag to it, but it's not irritating to me. If the drag does irritate you, you can always use water-based lubricant. The only real texture found on this toy is located right at the head. The head features many little nubs, which help to stimulate the g-spot. Even as someone who doesn't like texture, I didn't find this texture to be a problem.

The butterfly clitoral arm does feature some texture, in the form of the details on the butterfly (the bands going around it, for instance). I was unable to feel the texture from the butterfly during use.

Design / Shape / Size

This vibrator measures about 8" in length, though only 5" of that is insertable. It's about 1 3/8" in diameter, as well. Overall, I found the size of the toy to be okay, and I think that it'll meet most individuals needs.

The design of this vibrator is just too cute, which is why I chose to purchase it in the first place. This dual stimulation vibrator features a shaft that has a very, very slight curve to it. I truly wish that it had more of a curve, so that it was able to better stimulate my g-spot. At the end of that shaft, there's the slightly larger head that features the nubs for added stimulation.

Coming off of the shaft, there's a clitoral arm. The clitoral arm on this toy is shaped like an adorable little butterfly. The antennas on the butterfly are meant to stimulate the users clitoris. All in all, I found that the butterfly attachment stimulated my clitoris well, but I do wish that there was a little more pressure.

This vibrator is not really discreet in style. There's not really anything else it could be, but a vibrator.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This vibrator runs on 2-AA batteries. To insert the batteries, you screw off the cap at the bottom. You then pull out the plastic "sleeve" that goes inside the vibrator, and insert the batteries into the sleeve. Then, slide the sleeve back into vibrator, screw the top on, and you're ready to go.

In order to turn this on, you need to use the buttons found on the cap. There are two buttons. One of the buttons functions only as an off button, which is nice. It's great to have an instant off button if you live with others; you never know when you'll be interrupted! The other button, on the other hand, turns the vibrator on, and is used to cycle through the patterns.

Speaking of settings, there are 7 of them. Three of the settings include steady vibrations, with each one increasing in speed. There are also pulsating patterns, as well as escalating patterns.

The toy also features two motors! Cool, right? One of the motors is located in the head of the shaft, whereas the other is located in the base of the butterfly. The fact that there are two motors means that the vibrations travel well throughout the entire toy. It should be noted, however, that you do not have the option of using one motor a time; if you want one, you need to take the other.. sadly.

At the highest setting, I would say that this vibrator is about 3 vrooms, and 2 bees. It could certainly stand to have a little more power!

As for how it functioned in water? It did beautifully! I have fully submerged this toy without a single issue.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is rather easy to clean, although you do need to take time to clean the textured head. This is because bodily fluids can sort of get stuck in between all those little nubs! It's still not a challenge to clean; it just requires a little extra time. You can clean this toy by using antibacterial soap and warm water. You can also use a toy cleaner, if you like.

Also, it should be noted that this toy is somewhat of a lint magnet, so I recommend that you give this toy a good rinse before each use. Remember to clean it well after use, too!

As far as lubricant goes, you should only use water-based lubricants with this toy. Although this vibrator is not 100% silicone, silicone lubricant could still interact badly with the material.

For storage, I recommend that you store this in a Ziplock bag, or a pouch.
Follow-up commentary
This vibrator has, sadly, met its end. You see, I forgot to remove the batteries one night, and they evidently leaked out and ruined the toy. I can't say I'm too upset about it, as this toy was never my favorite.
