The Clitoral Pump by California Exotics is made for ladies who like to use suction on their clitoris to bring more blood flow to that area for extra arousal. Typically this would be used before other sexual activities, so this would make a great foreplay toy. You could even use this during sex, if you can figure out how to get it to stay suctioned onto your clitoris. Don't forget to take advantage of the pump's vibrating function; it's quite powerful in that regard.

This clitoral pump has a hidden use to it that some people may not know about. Try using it on a nipple and you'd probably be surprised how arousing it feels. That being said, this toy isn't just for the ladies, the men could use this as well on their nipples for some added excitement.

The features of this toy are great for anyone to use. It's very easy to manipulate and turn on and the simple valve release button makes this safe to use as well.

The included TPR Silicone sleeves should not be shared, if used on the clitoris. If used only on the nipples sharing shouldn't be a problem as long as they're thoroughly cleaned before and after each use.

The main body of the toy is pink and made out of plastic, which has a safety rating of 8/10 and is non-porous and phthalates free. The plastic body is very firm, smooth and chilly to the touch and doesn't have an odor to it.

Included are two TPR silicone sleeves that are clear and have a safety rating of 6/10, are somewhat porous, hypoallergenic, latex, and phthalates free. The sleeves are very squishy, cool to the touch and can be stretched to fit the end of the plastic pump or turned inside out for extra cleaning access. There is a rubbery smell to them, but it isn't overpowering and seems to lessen when cleaned thoroughly.

TPR silicone tends to be grabby on the skin, so this also means it attracts every fuzzball and piece of lint it comes in contact with. If lube is desired with this toy only water based lubricants should be used.

The clitoral pump slightly resembles a 5 1/2" long curved-tip g-spot vibrator, but the 1 1/2" head end is open instead of solid and closed. A 16" tubular hose runs out the bottom end of the "vibrator" and into the 3" bulb shaped hand pump which has a little 1/2" heart valve release button. All together this toy weighs about 0.5 lb so it's not very heavy at all.

There are a few small seams and the end is open for suction, but it's not an insertable, so that won't affect its use in any way.

The size of this toy makes it easy to hide but the hose could be a little troublesome if trying to stuff it somewhere. If it stays in one position for too long the hose will conform to it and not want to go back to being stretched out in a more straight position which could make use a pain at times.

There's an end cap on the plastic body of the clitoral pump that turns clockwise, to turn on the vibrations and counter-clockwise to turn them off. If turned further it will screw off the cap, so the batteries can be inserted/changed. There are no vibration patterns or levels of intensity, just on and off.

The hand operated bulb pump is simple to use. Just hold the head end with silicone sleeve against the desired area for suction and use your other hand to squeeze the bulb, until the amount of suction you're looking for is reached. If you accidentally pump too much have no fear, that's what the little heart button comes in handy for. Just a push of that little heart and the suction releases with no catch.

These functions are not lockable for travel, so taking out the batteries is recommended whenever this toy is not use. No one wants the noisy thing to go off in your suitcase or bag, imagine how embarrassing, especially since this toy is so noisy; it would probably be heard through a door.

The plastic body of the clitoral pump cannot be submerged, so no shower or bath time playing with this toy.

The end of the pump can be sterilized by wiping it down with isopropyl alcohol or carefully cleaning with soap and hot water on a washcloth. The silicone sleeves can be submerged for easy cleaning, but it is not advised to sterilize them in boiling water. They should be washed with warm water and soap or a toy cleaner before and after each use.

This toy did come with a pink mesh drawstring storage pouch and should be stored in it or another similar bag to keep the sleeves from touching other toys and causing possible damage.

The packaging the clitoral pump came in was a typical Cal Exotics box with a half naked woman posing on it. The only instructions included are that of battery installation and no warranties came in the box. The back of the box includes a little information about the toy and the Cal Exotics website.

Being that the packaging isn't discreet at all you may want to wrap it if you're gifting to someone else. It's not a very good box for storage either but would work for temporary use. Beyond that it should be recycled if possible.

I'm not usually inclined to use pumps of any kind, but this was a gift from someone else and I figured I'd give it a try. To my surprise it wasn't all that bad, but the vibrations could have had some variation instead of just the one high setting.

I just repeated pumping and releasing the suction a few more times and that seemed to definitely get me wet and excited which is more than I expected to get out of this toy to be honest.
