The Bcute Pearl is an adorable little vibe, and very gentle. As such it's best suited for sensitive parts such as the breasts and nipples, lips, stomach, anus, scrotum and perineum. Clitorial stimulation is definitely an option too, but you might not find it strong enough to be your favourite toy for that job. Though small, its three-bulb shape also makes the Pearl very appealing for penetrative use, just stay away from using it for anal penetration. This vibe is tiny, 4.25" long, and just 3" in insertable length and has no flared base.

Like all the Bcute vibes, the Pearl's most appealing quality is its lovely, silky smooth silicone! We all love it: non-porous, hypoallergenic, phthalates-free, the works. With a drop of water-based lube, the silicone is especially a pleasure to touch. However, there is a very noticeable seam around the length of the toy. My partner didn't notice it, but I found it to be unpleasant. Considering that the material could be such a great aspect of the toy, that irritating seam was a pretty big disappointment.

The handle of the toy is standard ABS plastic. Neither part had any noticeable smell, and I found the taste of the silicone to actually be quite pleasant.

At first glance, the design of this vibrator seems great. It's small enough to be discreet and travel-friendly, has bulges that feel amazing for shallow penetration, and a has small dial handle at the base. The wine colour is a godsend for people (like me!) who are tired of seeing endless neon pink and purple vibrators.

However, the bulges meet in an odd way that is very difficult to clean thoroughly. The handle is very small, as mentioned above. Worst of all, the base of this toy is not flat. It won't rest standing up on its own. This is very annoying for those of us who like to leave toys standing up to air-dry.

It's cute, but impractical.

Here comes the dealbreaker: weak vibrations.

The Pearl's vibe intensity is controlled by a dial on the handle, but it only seems to go from "low" to "moderately low." I'm a fairly sensitive girl, but I know there are lots of women out there for whom this toy just won't do the trick.

The upside of these rather uninspired vibrations is that this toy is whisper quiet. Even at its highest setting, the Pearl never lets out more that a soft hum. So, if you're very sensitive and discretion is very important to you, you'll probably appreciate this Bcute's unique features.

Regular silicone rules apply: don't use silicone-based lube, or keep it next to other silicone toys. However, unlike some other silicone toys, you can't boil this toy or put it in the dishwasher, because of the plastic handle and battery compartment.

Bswish claims that this toy is waterproof, but I'd be wary of using it in the bathtub. There's no rubber o-ring or anything else to keep out liquid, so I didn't want to risk testing its bath-worthiness.

Toy cleaner or any mild antibacterial soap should keep this toy clean. However, both the aforementioned seam and the ridges where the bumps meet will require some very special attention. It seems like bacteria could very easily get trapped in these areas, and it makes me nervous. Be very thorough in washing this toy!

The Pearl came with its very own storage pouch, in pink and black silky material. Very stylish! It's awesome to have a drawstring pouch perfectly suited to the toy. That's a huge plus for me, so kudos to Bswish on that one!

The outside packaging is... not bad. It has a sultry lady on the front. What's with that? It's not a huge problem, but using conventionally attractive (heavily photoshopped) women to sell me a vibrator seems like a weird choice. Still, the packaging is sturdy enough, and doesn't use too much plastic. I happily threw it out right away.

My partner and I were excited to try this out as soon as it came in the mail. It was smaller than expected, but we both really enjoyed the smooth texture of the toy, and found the gentle lower vibrations to be very playful and fun. He wasn't bothered by the seam in the material at all. His only negative comment was, while I was using it on his shaft while orally pleasuring him, "Um... does it go any stronger?"
