The BCute Pearl is a super cute, pocket sized, silicone vibrator. It is a high quality product made by BSwish with lots of small perks and one large fail.

It is made of high quality silicone and comes in a few really nice colors - I chose the purple and it's a deep rich eggplant which in contrast to the white base and chrome colored band is absolutely stunning. The bulbous shape makes it interesting, but at its size, they're not really noticeable because it's no good for penetration for me. It does have seams in the silicone but they're super tiny and have never been a hindrance to me. It does have 3" of insertable length out of its 4-1/2" x 1" body, but that's just not enough to really be felt by me, despite my smaller anatomy.

It is super quiet and that being combined with its size make it great for those that want to hide their toys, or those who wish to travel with them. It's also waterproof, which I've tested, so it really can go anywhere with you, and is incredibly easy to clean. It even runs on just one AA battery; mine has had the same battery since I got it. It is multi-speed, controlled by the dial on the plastic base.

Unfortunately, turning it on is where the positive ends and the negative begins. The vibrations start (with brand new batteries) at very low and amp up to the low end of a medium speed at the highest. The vibration, although always even and consistent, is very buzzy and feels almost localized to the center of the toy instead of being rumbly or an all-over kind of vibration. It is not nearly strong enough to get me off. Its size also makes best suited as a clit vibe, not for penetration of any kind (DEFINITELY no anal insertion - you'd lose this one quickly).

But since it is such a beautiful toy, I've found a few other uses for it. The localized buzzy-ness actually does a great job around my nipples and on my labia. The silicone has just a slight bit of drag against dry or lightly lubricated skin which I personally really enjoy. If you don't enjoy that, just add an extra drop of lube and it will glide more smoothly. It works well when run on the underside of my boyfriend's penis but isn't strong enough to work on his p-spot when applied on the perineum. Although I do enjoy it for teasing and foreplay, I already have a myriad of bullets, pocket rockets, and vibrators that do that job and more.

I really wanted to love this toy. BSwish is a great company known for quality toys and this really is a great toy in theory, but in actuality it's too small and too low to be effective for me. I wish they could double the intensity and size - it would be absolutely perfect. The dimensions and vibrations of that toy with the same bulbous shape would be a home run in my book.

Although it's just got too many negatives for me, this toy might work really well for someone that has never used a toy before. It's discreet, can go anywhere with you, and not at all intimidating. If someone has not tried a vibrator or a penetrative toy before, this toy would be a great introduction to both of those things.

If you think the toy might work for you or you're willing to try it just based on its list of perks, be sure to only use water based lube with it. It is silicone and, therefore, should not be used with silicone lube. Also, it is super easy to clean with soap and water and can be stored in its original black box with fitted insert or in a bag (to avoid fuzzies although this one doesn't pick up too many) in a drawer or your toy box.

I can't lie. While this toy is adorable and I do love the brand, it's never really done enough for me. I've tried using it a few more times since I wrote the review and I just haven't been able to make it work right for me. I am hanging on to it though, it hopes that if my tastes ever change, I'll get to enjoy it.
