Lucid dream 28 - traditional vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Jett X

I love love love this line of toys. They are so pretty to look at and feel so delightful!

First off, this came packaged in a clear box without all the cheesy photos of sexy ladies. The packaging looks very modern and artsy, and the candy colors of the toys themselves are what always catch my eye. I have Lucid Dream no. 28 in yellow. I was worried that the jelly material would be too squishy, but it's actually very firm.

The one problem with the it being a jelly is that it smells a little plasticky - kind of like an inflatable raft. But it wasn't super strong, so it was easy to overlook. And the scent did fade pretty quickly after removing it from the packaging.

So after settling in, I definitely discovered I needed a little warming up before inserting this toy. Even with a little water-based lube, the head of the toy is fairly large, so I couldn't just go for it. After a little relaxation and clit stimulation, I was ready for the vibrator. And boy was it worth the wait! The bulb at the head was eye-rollingly pleasurable, and that only got better as I kept inserting. I did still find it difficult to move in and out because of the size of the bulbs, so I just sort of left it there once I actually turned it on. The vibrations are really strong, which was good because in my experience the bullets in these types of toys tend to feel a little weak once inserted.

Afterwards it was easy clean-up with some water and cleaner. It might be a little tough to keep a condom on for partner play because of the bumps. It's also a good idea to keep this in a satin (or similar) storage bag because it does collect lint if stored on a fuzzy surface.

One last note - this is supposedly waterproof, but to me it doesn't feel like it could be used in the bath or held underwater for a long period. I haven't tested this however. To me it feels more water resistant and I'd feel comfortable using it in the shower.
