Dream maker night cap - dual motor rabbit vibrator discontinued by Evolved Novelties - review by The Vixen

What originally attracted me to this toy was the "waving" stimulation in the shaft. I have always been a fan of rabbits that rotate and wiggle and squirm, so when I saw this beautiful toy by Evolved I knew I had to have it.

This is the first toy by Evolved Novelties that I have purchased. To me, the styling and finish of this rabbit and its packaging just feels luxurious. Unlike other toys that come in flimsy packaging that is good for pretty much nothing after you open the box, this toy comes in a keepsake tin that you can store your night cap in between uses.

The toy itself is the sweetest shade of pink. I adore the way that this toy looks. As weird as it sounds, I actually do catch myself just sitting there admiring it. The shaft is made of TPR and the handle is made out of a harder plastic that has a velvety finish. The handle features an EZ load battery cartridge, which is a must for me. I do take the cartridge out of the rabbit between uses to ensure the batteries don't leak and ruin the toy, and to preserve battery life. This toy says it's waterproof and the seal does seem pretty good.

The controls feature a pretty star pattern of blue lights that respond to each of the functions - it's very pretty! I like how Evolved has made their controls more complex than a lot of other rabbits. I prefer a lot of variation and control with my toys so this is heaven for me!

There is a master power button for fast on/off, which is nice. When first turned on, the toy starts up at the slowest and most basic setting of both the vibration and rotation. You are able to turn either feature completely off, if you choose by pressing the down button once. Both the vibration and rotation have their own up and down controls for the speed/intensity. The part I love is that both the vibration and rotation each have their own individual function button. As far as vibrations, you can choose from a total of 5 different buzzing patterns. There are also 5 independent patterns for the rotating shaft; you can reverse direction, or choose back-and-forth or burst rotations as well. For each individual function, of both the vibration and rotation you can use the up and down buttons to change up the speed. There are so many possibilities!

One thing that really catches your eye is the shape of the shaft. It is in no way smooth! The whole shaft is covered in a big swirling ridge and this gives the toy a ripply appearance. I thought this was a bit intimidating at first and I was wondering if I was going to like it at all. The TPR material is actually really soft and the ridges feel pretty good once they're inside you. The ridges really do enhance the sensation of the movement once the toy is powered up. This toy is a bit on the girthier side, but the TPR is squishy so I didn't have any problems with it. It gives you a nice, full feeling and it fit me like a glove.

As for the clit arm, it is not your traditional shape. It kind of reminds me of a bug! The clit stimulator is rounded and has some small nubs on it. I personally think this is a much better design than your typical bunny ears. I feel you get much better contact and there's no "stabiness" involved. The arm is extremely bendable so it's more likely to fit your anatomy.

I was super excited about all the options, mainly the rotating shaft and the undulating disks instead of your traditional beads.

Once it's moving, the sensation of the shaft is rather relaxing and is such a sweet feeling. It almost feels like slow penetration. It's not really strong or in-your-face. I don't think this is the sort of toy I would use if I just wanted to get off quickly. To me, this toy is all about the experience. It really feels non-aggressive, if that makes sense.

My complaint is that I like really hard pressure with a clit stimulator, but with this one being so bendable, I have to almost hold it against me to get the sensation I like. I still think the clit stimulator is one of the better ones I've encountered. But even with both the vibration and rotation turned all the way to max, I still felt like I needed more. I usually end up turning off the clit arm and moving it to the side, and then using a stronger vibrating wand.

As time goes on and my toy collection has grown, I've been feeling more and more disappointed with the Night Cap. Compared to my other rabbits, this one is still the softest, material-wise, but it's the weakest in the power and performance
department. I've had this toy for a good while and still have yet to orgasm with just it alone. While the rippling / rotating shaft sensation is nice, the head itself does not actually rotate, which is probably why the sensation isn't the strongest. Also, with the clitoral arm being so flexible, I still don't feel like I'm getting a good, firm connection. And I do think I need the vibrations to be stronger for me to fully enjoy this toy.

I've used this with my husband, and, while it was a fun experience, I was still left needing more. This toy is still fun for foreplay, but it's getting passed-up more frequently for more exciting things.
