First time power vibe - traditional vibrator discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by gipsydanger

I've only used a few "beginner vibes", but this one is my favorite so far.

I actually like beginner vibes due to how cheap they are--my vagina doesn't exactly need a sports car to have a good orgasm. I wanted something cheap and powerful that didn't have a whole lot going on or look too realistic. Now, I'm not exactly a professional toy user. I'm very casual because I don't take a lot of extra bells and whistles to satisfy my needs. I've had two or three vibes in this "style", but this is the first that has actually lasted me quite a while through heavy usage and that I've been somewhat consistent with.

Ever since getting a G-Spot vibe, I haven't used this one much, but I pulled it out recently and was still quite pleased with it.

It comes in two colors, which both are unfortunately feminine and pastel-y. I prefer my vibes to be in colors I like, and soft lavender isn't exactly one of my favorites as someone who's a little more "butch". But since it spends most of its time between my legs, I guess that's a minor complaint.

I was looking for a vibe to replace one of my original vibes that was of a similar concept. This one was incredibly appealing due to its price, and it's WELL worth it for the money. It's a very solid toy with good construction and I've used it under water with absolutely no problems. The only thing I have noticed, which is common for plastic toys, is that it's gotten really loud over time. It was on the quieter, more discreet side when I purchased it, but now it's a good rumble that makes me nervous with the paper thin walls in my house.

Even so, I still really like this toy. It has a surface that's not exactly slick, but unlike toys that you can get at less quality, the surface doesn't peel or rub off after use. I'm fairly intense with grinding against toys, so this is a huge plus for me. The textured control knob is a great feature, too.

I'm not exactly sure where the "less intense" is coming from, unless I'm just not used to hardcore vibes... in which case, I definitely would not want to meet them. This is just as powerful as I can handle and it's pretty intense. It runs off of two batteries and doesn't drain them quickly--I have pretty good stamina and can drain other toys in two sessions, but this lasts me at least four or five. It definitely packs a punch that probably is going to be pretty strong for a first timer.

I really like the length of this toy, too. I'm not big on insertion, but it's a great length to get a hold on and grind against and get decent coverage. That plus the width are perfect, and it can even slip between partners pretty well.

It comes with no frills though, no ridges or anything extra, which keeps it wonderful and cheap. The speed is turn adjustable, so sometimes it's great to slowly build up, or even keep on the lesser. Like I mentioned earlier, I have a fancy ten-setting vibe and this gives me a more powerful orgasm sometimes, even.

I'd definitely recommend it as a first time purchase and I wish I had chosen this over a crappy novelty store vibe instead when I was just starting out! After owning it for a year and a half with pretty intense weekly (if not daily when I first got it) usage, it's still showing no signs of wear other than the rattling. I would even buy it again if it ever died on me.
