I recently lost my Hitachi Magic Wand after many years of faithful service. I was heartbroken; how could anything replace my trusty Magic Wand? I decided to try some new toys – I haven’t really used any sex toys other than the Wand ever, so I thought it would be about time to broaden my education. First, I thought I would invest in a toy with somewhat similar capabilities. I know I am a power freak, and so that ruled out all but the top level intensity toys. I was immediately attracted to the rocket booster.

It uses four batteries – quite the power pack. But it’s worth it! This baby works great. Three batteries go into the control unit, and a fourth battery goes into the actual vibrator. It was a little difficult to get the battery into the vibrator. You have to twist the vibrator around to get it to open, and it seemed a little sticky– but just as I thought I was about to break it, it popped open. It is very powerful indeed, and it has many different intensities to choose from, so you can get just the right amount of stimulation. It also has 5 different settings for variation. My favorite is #5, where it starts out low and gradually gets stronger to the highest setting, and then back down again. I get off with this toy every time! And after three weeks, I still haven’t had to replace any of the batteries yet, and it hasn’t diminished in strength at all. The cord is just the right length, not too long but not too short.

I like this toy because it is very portable and discreet – it fits well hidden inside the drawer to my nightstand. It’s not big or bulky at all, and it is easy to manipulate it and move it around to achieve just the right sensation. It’s moderately loud on the highest setting, you definitely won’t want any light sleepers present anywhere near you. It is also very easy to keep clean, there is only a small portion which actually makes contact with your body, and it washes off easily.
