Forbidden Fruit...not so forbidden.

This toy is cute and interesting but lacks intensity, is loud, and not as varied as expected. Can be somewhat awkward to use and clean. Is pretty expensive as well.

This toy is very cute and unique, but that's pretty much where it ends. I love the packaging, the look of the toy and the rechargeable quality. It fits well in the palm of the hand, however, I'm not sure a vibrator is something you would want to hold with the whole of your hand. Feeling the vibrations in the hand distracts from the area you WANT to feel it. But this toy's vibrations are not very strong, so I suppose the point is lost.

I found the power button/vibration control very irritating to use and the vibration options did not seem as plentiful as expected. The toy is quite loud as well. It could be heard under the covers and was still pretty loud from under there.

The toy is plastic and pretty simple to clean, with the exception of the seam through the middle and the charging dots at the bottom. I suggest a small spash of water and soap, avoiding the charger points, followed by a cleansing wipe.

As a light body massager, perhaps there could be some use, but I could not derive any sexual pleasure from this toy. Luckily I caught it on a sale and only paid $60 versus it's regular $99.

Overall, if you are into role play or want something that's cute, kitschy and discreet, then maybe this is the toy for you. I'd get it when it's on sale, I don't believe it is worth the regular price. If you are looking for that extra "vroom" and some intense pleasure, I'd look elsewhere.

I'm not sure if I will be returning this or keeping it to use as a regular massager or just for a bit of fun and a laugh. I suppose my friends would get a nice kick out of it.

Thanks for the review. What scares me is I think I saw this on my niece's teacher's desk... It really looks like one of those teacher's apples.

Thanks for the review. It can be nice to decorate, too, but... a bit expensive for that usage!

Great review. This toy has stolen my curiosity a few times, but not enough that it has worked its way onto my wishlist. You have a point about not wanting to hold a vibe with your whole hand. Honestly I can't see using this toy for sexual pleasure... Anyway, thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review! Just wondering what your opinions were of the vibration options? Were there pulse patterns? Steady vibe? Thanks for mentioning the fact that because it's a whole-palm kind of toy, the vibrations in your hand were distraction - I don't think I would have thought about that unless you had mentioned it. It's definitely a turn-off when you trying to get turned on!!

Oh! And the toy looks shiny, but I'm wondering if it has any drag when you pull your finger across it? Does it attract lint?
  • Contributor: KiraC
Yes there are pulse patterns. I don't care for pulse patterns in any toy, they do nothing for me, so I suppose my opinion on them is useless. It is a smooth plastic, I didn't notice any lint attraction or drag, but it doesn't slip out of the hand either, at least not with a good grip and no lube. I honestly think the only thing it's good for is role play. But why spend the money when you can just use a real apple or stick a bullet in a wax one?
