Fun at first, then disappointing...

Kitty play is a lot of fun at first, but disappointing in the long-run. The vibrations are too weak and it is worthless now, until I get ahold of some N batteries.

Use

Kitty play was a lot of fun when I first got it. It has high-frequency vibrations, so it got me excited fast. Unfortunately, I had a hard time coming to a full orgasm with it. I usually have had to switch to a different toy before being able to come.

It's definitely best for external play (clit stimulation). You should definitely use a condom if you want to insert it because it isn't waterproof and may be hard to retrieve. I personally didn't try inserting it. For me, it worked best solo. The cord is a little too short to make couple play not awkward.

The plastic covering is very smooth and soft, making it easy to clean. I really liked the texture. It didn't have an odor of any kind when I opened the package.

I love the shape for clitoral stimulation. It is very easy to maneuver myself. I do wish the cord was longer. That would make it easier for me to control, and less awkward to use with a partner.

The power button is also a little awkward. There seems to be no way to turn it off except to unscrew the egg. That was frustrating because I feared running-down the batteries. And speaking of batteries, it takes N batteries--I always have double and triple As around the house, but who keeps N batteries?

Care and Maintenance

The smooth texture makes this toy easy to wipe clean after use. It isn't waterproof so don't run it under water. I didn't try it with lube, but you'd also want to be careful with that.

The packaging was pretty standard, plastic packaging. There were no special instructions included. I looked and looked for instructions on how to turn it off, but they weren't there.

Follow-up commentary I still don't like it 3 months after original review

I haven't used this vibrator in so long. It takes N batteries, which I don't have. I never remember to buy them, so when this vibe died, I gave up on it. It didn't do enough for me to make worrying about the batteries worth it for me, anyway. This one was definitely a disappointment, but I'm interested in a more powerful toy with a longer cord (and one that takes AA or AAA batteries. ;))
