Pretty Little Kitty!

I personally was a little disappointed with this toy. Even though the varying vibration patterns are different than I have ever seen on any other toy, which added a bit of variety, they weren't very strong. I must also say that the thin wires used to connect the control to the toy did make me a bit hesitant to use it for vaginal insertion because I concerned that they would break.
Small, lightweight, fun.
Battery compartment edges are a little sharp and there was a plastic burr left on it.

extremely useful review

I feel that this vibrator is fairly versatile. It can be used either when one is alone for masturbatory play or in couple play such as massage, tickling, teasing and foreplay arousal. Its egg shape makes it good for stimulating just about any area of the outside of the body, by being small and rounded it sort of snuggles up to all the curves and planes of the body. Because of its shape and size, it tends to direct the stimulation to a smaller area than most vibrators do without having to twist and turn it in different directions during play. I think this toy can be used by singles or couples interested in new experiences. I feel that it would be best used as a fun foreplay toy.

Material / Texture

The Kitty Play really is a cute little toy and I found the color to be appealing. Its PU coating has a soft feel to it and is smooth, but at the same time it is obvious that it is made of rigid ABS plastic. It has no detectable smell to it, but it does have a strange taste it which I find difficult to describe. It tends to irritate the tongue if left on there for any length of time and it leaves a bad aftertaste. I didn't find the physical feel of this toy particularly pleasurable by itself, but with the use of a lube it improved some. The smooth texture makes it suitable for beginners or experienced users.

Design / Shape / Size

For the most part, I like the design of the Kitty Play. I feel that since this toy is supposed to be suitable for vaginal or anal insertion, it probably could have been a bit smaller in diameter and consistent in diameter. It is bigger at the end where the wires are connected to it which I found to be a little uncomfortable when removing it from the vagina. I think this size would be more for the advanced users that are more relaxed with the use of adult toys because I think the diameter could be a bit intimidating for the beginning user. It is definitely easy to hide at home. As far as away from home it would probably be easier to hide in a purse or any luggage. It is small enough that you could use it for travel without it being readily detectable.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Kitty Play has a small push button control that is easy to use and connected to the toy with two separate thin wires. The control only 3/4” long, has raised ridges on two sides for better grip, and has the push button in the end of it. I found it to be a little unpredictable. It functioned well during the first use, but when it came time for the second use, it would not work. It took several minutes of pushing the button to activate the toy.

It has three different vibration patterns. When you push the button the first time it produces a consistent vibration that is throughout the toy but more noticeable at the end opposite the wire entry point. The vibrations aren't particularly strong, a little more than what you would experience with a cell phone. Push the button a second time and it produces an interesting , pulsing vibration comprised of two short periods of vibrations then one long one. The best way I can describe it was like a Morse Code pattern, two dots and one dash! Push the button a third time and it produces a barely noticeable vibration that gradually increases in strength.

When you want to shut the toy off, you have to hold the push button down for at least three seconds, any less than that and it will go to the next pattern in sequence. Out of the three patterns, I found the second one (the Morse Code) the most interesting although not earth shattering and I didn‘t care for the third pattern at all. It just didn‘t appeal to me. We did get a good laugh out of the little red light in the toy that is synchronized to the vibration patterns. That was a hoot! I didn't care for the wires that connect the control to the toy. The wires are only 8” long which makes it very awkward to activate the control if you are using it for vaginal or anal insertion when alone. This toy is not waterproof.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is easy to care for, just clean it with a washcloth and a mild soap or you can use toy cleaner, although since it is not waterproof, you do have to make sure that you don't get any moisture in the battery compartment or control. It can also be cleaned with a 10% bleach solution and a washcloth. I store it in its original packaging mostly because of wanting to keep it clean, but also because the instructions do state that it should be kept separate from other materials to avoid chemical reactions. It can be safely used with water-based and silicone lubes. Oil-based lubes will cause the finish to corrode.

The Kitty Play came in a cardboard box with a molded plastic insert. The instructions that came with the toy were actually generic instructions to be used with any one of 20 toys that this company produces. This was evidenced by the graphic to show the proper placement of the batteries. There were 20 different battery placement configurations and you had to find the one that applied to the particular toy that you had purchased. Also, the instructions were in 7different languages which make for an unbelievably long piece of paper (3' long) but convenient for users that are not fluent in English.

Personal comments

The R1 type batteries are included with this toy, but I did find them to be an odd size which isn't normally carried at the two stores that I checked at today.

You can insert a bullet by putting a condom over it and extending the condom outside so THAT is what you grab onto to pull it out. I recommend doing this anyways for safety reasons and preventing contamination and or liquid in the batteries.
