The Remote Egg Vibe is intended to be used primarily for clitoral stimulation. It can also be used to place vibrations on any other part of the body. This toy would work well for someone who doesn't like dealing with cords while using a vibe and also has the advantage of not putting lube on the part of the toy that controls the different settings. With a normal vibrating egg, the button used to control the fuction setting is located nearby where lubricant will be used resulting in slippery controls. This toy comes with the remote control making it easier to keep the controls from becoming unusable from lubrication. It also allows you or your partner to control the vibration without having to mess with the vibrator itself.

The Remote Egg Vibe is made of plastic and is non-porous. It has no noticable smell. It is smooth to the touch aside from the place where the bottom half of the egg attached to the top half. But, even this connection is quite smooth and does not take away from the enjoyment of the toy. The plastic can be a bit hard and stiff in use. We recommend using a jelly covering (any stretchy vibe cover should work).

The desgin of the Remote Egg Vibe is not really shaped like an egg. It is more a slightly irregular cylinder. It is about 2" long and about 4" around with a 1 and 1/4th inch diameter. One problem that we have with the shape is the size of the egg. The size is probably necessary to accomodate the electronics involved in making this toy remote controlled. But, it ends up being a little bulky. So, when used during sex, it can make it hard to hold in place with out it getting smashed into the clitoris at times.
The size of this toy makes it great for travel, since it can easily be put in a purse or really any where without taking up much space.

This toy is loaded with multiple levels and variations of vibrations. It has three levels of intensity and 7 variations of fuctionality including pulsating, buzzing, escalation and variations of the mix. We've found the vibrations to be quite strong. The only problem is that the remote control is not easy to operate. It seems like it would be considering it is just one button. But in order to turn it on you need to hold the button for just the right amount of time. And to turn it off, it requires holding it for a long period of time. But if you hold it too long it can turn back on. And then changing the function requires shorter pushes but it is frustrating at times to get this to work correctly. Basically, it is a crap shoot when it comes to arriving at the fucntion setting you were hoping to use. In the several times we've used it, it seems like most often we just say oh well and use whatever setting it is on.
Another frustration is the type of betteries it requires. 12V batteries are not ones we usually have on hand.
This toy is not very quiet, but that is not usually an issue for us. But, you wouldn't be able to hide it in your pants while riding on the subway.
And the waterproof nature of the toy seems to work fine. We've used in water and had no problems.

This toy is easy to care for. Usually soap and water cleans it up nicely. For a thorough cleaning you can always use isopropyl alcohol.
It is easily stored in a drawer or could be placed in a small box. Even with the remote, it takes up very little room.

This toy works great when you find the setting you like. The major problem with this toy is that getting the remote to cooperate requires a lot of patience. Sometimes the remote changes the setting and sometimes it doesn't. You have to figure out how to time your pushes and releases on the button used for changing the settings. And it seems a little tempermental about turning on and off.

We do not recommend using this during strap-on play in regards to inserting it into a pocket of the harness you are using. It is far too bulky and will be more painful than pleasurable.
