Great Vibe, Bad Smell

Overall, this is a great toy if you can get past the smell. I've learned to deal with it, but if you don't thoroughly wash your hands after use, you might be smelling it all day. I would definitely recommend this toy.

Use

Lucid dream No. 42 has become my go-to vibe. It's great for the G-spot, but I also like to use it for clitoral stimulation. I've found that other G-spot vibes can be too narrow or the vibrations too weak, but this is just the right size with the perfect amount of vibes. The curve of it is great. Once inserted, I sometimes get it turned a little bit, so it can take a second to figure out how to get it pointed back in the right direction.

It is super quiet, which is fantastic if you have roommates. With the AC, heat, or fan on you can barely hear it while using it.

Material / Texture

The silicone has a nice smooth feel. I must warn you that this toy smells awful! At first, it had a very distinct plastic/rubbery smell. No amount of cleaning or use will make this smell go away. With time the smell has almost changed to a rubbery/cinnamon smell, which is really strange.

Design / Shape / Size

Lucid dream No. 42 is thicker than most of my other G-spot vibes, and I love it. It has a slight wavy curve to it, which is nice. However, it can easily get turned around once inside. One of the best features of this toy is the fact that the bullet is located at the tip of the toy for maximum G-spot pleasure. This is one of the reasons I purchased it, and I'm glad I did!

Functions / Performance / Controls

Since the vibrations are located at the tip of the toy, you get the maximum amount of G-spot pleasure. This toy also comes with a wired control pack, which makes changing through the 4 speeds much easier than fumbling around with button at the base like so many other toys. The Lucid Dream No. 42 is super quiet and can barely be heard when being used, especially if the AC/heat/fan is on. This toy is waterproof, but I found after a few shower uses some water had gotten inside around the bullet. This hasn't affected its use so far, but I'm worried it might in the future.

Care and Maintenance

This toy attracts some lint, but with a toy cleaner it is easy to take care of. I always use this toy with a water based lube and haven't found any problems with cleaning. Since it is waterproof, it's especially easy to clean off in the sink.

    This toy is not silicone. It is actually made of jelly. You should also mention the negatives of jelly material toys. That horrible smell you are smelling is called Phthalates and is a harmful chemical found in jelly/rubber toys.

    Thanks for the review, but I agree 100% with Curiouscat. Please keep in mind that someone may read your review and intend to buy this - they could end up sorely disappointed to find out it is not silicone. If they're new to toys they could end up using it in a way that can be dangerous with jelly products.
