I was very excited to receive the Lyra, as I have heard many great things about wand toys.



The box is very simple and elegant. On one side of the box there are instructions and features. The Lyra does not come with a manual, so all of the information is on the outside of the box. This is nice as it has less waste but makes the box less discreet if that is a concern.



When you open the box, the toy and charger are in a black mesh bag. While I like the idea of a product coming with a storage bag, I find these bags to be poor quality. I will be storing the Lyra and the charger in a higher quality bag.



While definitely a larger toy, the Lyra doesn't feel weighty or difficult to hold. It has two materials on the outside. The top section is a pink silicone, and the bottom section chrome finish is an ABS plastic.

We charged the toy when we received it, so when the time came to use the Lyra it was ready. For the first use, my partner and I were in our bedroom on the bed. My husband was on his side next to me, and I was lying on my back. We had company in the next room over (and we have pretty thin walls), so we turned on a movie to drown out the sound.

There's nothing quite like the shock of a cold toy, so the heating function on this toy was wonderful! We rotated through the seven different vibration settings which have a great range. Some functions pulse, and some of the pulsing settings increase in intensity. Some of the settings are a stable vibration of varying intensities. We really enjoyed the experience.

During later uses, my husband found that the buttons to change the vibrations can be difficult to press during use. Other than that, the wand continues to be awesome. We use all of the different functions, which is great because I often find myself skipping certain vibration patterns on other toys.

After looking into the dimensions it appears that the standard wand attachments should fit. We haven't purchased any attachments yet, but are looking forward to trying some out. I will post a follow-up review when we eventually order attachments.

This wand has become a new favorite for my partner and me.

The vibrations on the Lyra are very strong. Some of the variations are strong enough to vibrate through the handle to the holder. My first use with this wand was my first wand experience, and I was amazed at how intense the vibrations were. I could feel the vibrations on my G-spot without any insertion, and only external use!

My orgasms with the Lyra have been fantastic and quick to arrive. The vibration plus heating is very pleasurable.
The Lyra has delivered multiple orgasms, and we look forward to experimenting further with different uses and attachments. I'd recommend trying the wand in different positions, on different areas, and don't discredit the "massage" side of the toy!
