Wonder massager - pocket rocket discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Sodom and Gomorrah

The Wonder Massager Pocket Rocket toy is from the manufacturer Doc Johnson. This toy has a soft head with 5 massage points. This lovely toy is magnificent for anybody out there who is overly sensitive to average vibes. The settings varied from mild to beautifully mild. You can use this sexy toy for very light stimulation. Also, you can use it for sensual and arousal play either as couples or in a solo setting. This may have been strictly intended for beginners though.

The material to this toy is plastic. This material rates an 8 from a 1-10 on Eden's Material Safety Scale. This little vibrator is non-porous with firm and smooth textures. The Wonder Massager toy is food-grade material, hypo-allergenic, latex free and phthalates free. I did not notice any smell to this toy. The plastic although being almost weightless does not look or feel like cheap plastic. The texture at the top of the head is mostly smooth. The body part of the pocket rocket is ribbed. The shiny coat looks almost pearl-like and I didn't notice any chipping of the paint.

This toy has a somewhat discreet design and it resembles a small flashlight. The Wonder Massager has a simple design ribbed body with a soft head. The white vibe looks more similar to a pearl light grey color. It was made to be waterproof and no water leaked inside of it at all. The Wonder Massager looks discreet and is suitable for travel. The top where the massage points are located is not a removable cap, it looks pretty permanent to me. This toy is not intended for internal use but here are the sizes:

Now, I can't compare it to any of my favorite powerful vibes. The vibrations are very mild in this toy. The Wonder Massager has 10 multispeed functions. The control buttons are on the bottom and provides what are mainly buzzing variations. It ranges from vroom 1 to Vroom 2. The variations are from escalating, pulsating, surging and just regular vibrating. The vibration is felt only at the top of the toy. This little vibe was not too loud. It's 100% waterproof. This toy uses 2 triple AAA batteries which are not included with your purchase. These batteries last a long time since I haven’t had to change them as of yet. The vibrations on my hand makes my hand itch. The toy is seemingly quiet and won't be heard behind closed doors. The sound and the feel of it are buzzy and light. I’ll define the pulsations as:

The toy was easy to clean since its plastic. You may clean this toy with antibacterial soap and hot water, or a toy cleaner. Another option you have is to wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol. I would do that last step especially if you're sharing toys with someone else. You should clean it before and after use. As far as lubes go, you can use any type of lube you prefer. It's compatible with water-based, oil-based and silicone-based lubes. To store my toy, I put in a Ziploc bag.

The packaging to this toy is a small carton box with a picture of it on the front. You can just toss it like I did or keep it. I rather put this toy in a regular ziplock bag instead. This small box can be used for toy gifting but I recommend to cover it since the picture of the toy is on the packaging itself.

Here’s my experience with the Wonder Massager. I’m going to have to name this ‘I Wonder if it’s Working’ because once I had turned on the vibe I had to recheck over and over to see if it was even on. The vibrations were too mild for my liking. It lacked in vroom that’s for sure. I had chosen the white one but it’s more of a pearl light grey color. This little vibe was cute but doesn't seem to cut it when it came to power. Although no fireworks here, I did end up finding a good use for it. When you apply the massager to your head it gives a tingling sensation so I think it would be an excellent massager for headaches.
