Ina 2: A Rabbit to Remember

The Ina 2 is a fantastic rabbit-style vibrator by LELO. The vibrations are strong and rumbly while also remaining fairly quiet and should almost everybody's needs. Although the shape is anatomy-specific, the flexibility of the clitoral arm allows for more people to enjoy it. Waterproof, rechargeable, and made of safe materials, it is definitely a toy to consider adding to your collection!

Use

The Ina 2 by LELO is, as it appears, rabbit vibrator. It is a revamped (and much improved) version of the popular Ina, now packed with stronger and better vibrations. It is designed to stimulate your G-spot and your clitoris simultaneously. The clitoral arm is flexible, allowing it to fit a wider range of anatomies than many of the other rabbits in existence.

This toy is both great for solo and partner play. When used alone, the toy can be inserted and either gently thrust or simply left in place. Personally, I prefer rocking it back and forth. Meanwhile, if you enjoy not being in full control of the speeds, you can use it with a partner, with them in control, or simply use it yourself and put it onto its random setting. If you are having a partner use it on you, though, be sure to communicate to make sure that the partner's thrusts will not cause you discomfort.

Although this toy was designed for vaginal use, and thus specifically for people with vaginas, it can be used anally, as the clitoral arm should prevent it from being sucked in. The clitoral arm can also provide some external stimulation, or be turned off if it is not desired.

The Ina 2 is very quiet, making it perfect for those of us that live with roommates or houses with paper-thin walls (or, as in my case, floors). Even on its top speed, it cannot be heard through a closed door or even across a large room.

Contrary to how it might seem, considering that the toy has a lid over its charging port, the Ina 2 is, in fact, magically waterproof. To test this, I removed the charging port's cap, turned the vibrator on, and ran the faucet directly into the port. Nothing happened, which led me to try it in the bathtub, where it worked just as well as in the bed.

This toy has a travel lock, keeping it from turning on in your baggage, making it travel friendly. However, it is a tad bulky if you are keeping it in carry on, so I would recommend traveling with something smaller.

Material / Texture

The Ina 2 is made out of silicone and ABS plastic. To clarify, the parts that are inserted into or touch the genital area are silicone, while the handle is plastic. Silicone rates a 10 on Eden's safety scale for being food-grade, non-pourous, hypoallergenic, and free of phthalates and latex. It also naturally repels bacteria and can be easily sanitized.

LELO's silicone is quite different from the other silicone in the industry. Rather than consisting entirely of silicone, like other toys, LELO creates their toys out of plastic and then covers them in a thin silicone coating. Their silicone is matte, soft-to-the-touch, and velvet-like. It does not attract dirt and lint like that of other manufacturers. There is very little drag to it, though it can be felt on the clitoral arm. As with all silicone, be careful with silicone-based lubricant, but feel free to spot-test if you are using a premium brand to see if there will be a reaction.

The plastic handle (with the exceptions of the silicone buttons and charging-port cover), is also entirely smooth and slick. It is where your hands will grip the toy and can feel a little slippery if your hands are wet.

The toy is entirely free of texture. Although there are several faint seams, they cannot be felt in use. The exception to this would be the seams where the plastic meets the silicone, but this is not a part meant to be inserted anyway.

There was no taste or odor to this toy when it arrived and it does not retain new ones.

Design / Shape / Size

The Ina 2 comes in three colors: lime green, bright orange, and purple. Personally, I am thankful that LELO chose these colors rather than the far too overused "options" of pink, purple, and purply pink. The green and orange were nice, and I admit that I found it difficult to decide which to get. I went with green, mainly because the orange was out of stock by the time that I decided to buy. I was fine with either though.

The shape of the Ina 2 consists of an insertable portion with a bulge sticking out of the bottom, much like the Mona 2, and a clitoral arm.

Mona 2 Comparison

Its measurements are as follow:
Total Length: 8 in
Insertable Length: 4 1/2 in
Largest Shaft Diameter: 1 1/2 in
Smallest Shaft Diameter: 3/4 in
Clitoral Arm Diameter: 3/4 in
Clitoral Arm Length: 2 in

At 1 1/2 inches, this toy has an average girth for sex toys, making both large enough for advanced users and not too intimidating for beginners. Granted, it is a little large for beginners, but with proper warm up they should manage to insert it. Likewise, size queens might not be entirely fulfilled, but for the majority of us, the size will suffice. More importantly, however, is whether or not the Ina 2 will fit your particular anatomy. Although the bulge in the shaft is popular with those of us that have vaginas, the place where the clitoral arm rests will differ from person to person. I would take a look at rabbits that have and have not worked for you and compare their shape to this one to see.

There is no give to this toy and it is overall rigid, with the exception of the clitoral arm, which can flex quite a bit at its base to adjust to your anatomy. However, even though it can adjust to you, it presses down upon your clitoris firmly, providing pressure. If you are not a fan of clitoral pressure, the Ina 2 is not for you.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Performance
One of my favorite aspects of every LELO I own is how low the power level is in the beginning, so low that it is hardly able to be felt. For me, this creates the perfect warm-up sensation. The power ranges from 1 to 4.5 vrooms, stronger in the shaft than in the arm. Even on the most powerful settings, though, this rabbit is still fairly quiet. The vibrations are rumbly and can hardly be felt in the handle, allowing it to be held and used without the hand growing numb.

Controls
The Ina 2 is controlled by four easy to press buttons, arranged in a plus-sign-like shape. The top and bottom buttons have up and down arrows on them, controlling the vibration type, while the right and left buttons are a plus and minus respectively, controlling the power. These controls are easy to use and allow you to control the intensity of the individual patterns - something that most vibrators skip over. Although my finger does rest over them while this toy is in use, I never accidentally press the buttons.

Functions
The patterns are as follow:
1. Steady: Even in the shaft and arm
2. Steady: Strong in shaft, weak in arm
3. Steady: Weak in shaft, strong in arm
4. Pulsing: Back and forth between shaft and arm
5. Pulsing: Synced between shaft and arm
6. Rolling: From arm to shaft, repeat
7. Rolling: From arm to shaft and back to arm, repeat
8. Random: As the name suggests, totally random

I am normally not a fan of patterns, but I enjoyed numbers 7 and 8. It is nice to take a break from steady vibrations every now and then. Although the random function drives me insane sometimes, I really enjoy not knowing what the vibrator will throw at me next.

Power
Charging the Ina 2 takes about two hours and the charge lasts for roughly the same amount of time, though somewhat longer on lower settings. The charging port is on the bottom of the plastic handle, covered with a small plastic cover. When you plug it in, a light under the buttons turn on and begin to flash. When the toy finishes charging, the light will remain on but no longer be flashing.

Care and Maintenance

The Ina 2 is made out of ABS Plastic and silicone, making it easy to care for. Simply clean it with soap and water, though a specialized toy cleaner will suffice. To kill more bacteria, you can soak it in a 10% bleach solution. Because of the vibration bits, do not boil it or put it into the dishwasher.

Conventional wisdom teaches to only use water-based lubricants with this toy, but I use oil-based and coconut oil without problem (though I would recommend a spot-test first). High quality silicone lubricants can probably also be used, but be sure to test them first. There is potential for damage, but more often than not reactions occur with low quality lubricants and low quality toys.

To store this toy, you can either use the box or pouch that it came with. If you decide not to use either, be sure to keep it from touching other silicone toys or ones made of jelly, as the reaction can harm this rabbit. Regardless of this, storage is still easy as long as you use the provided pouch.

Packaging

The Ina 2 comes in classic LELO packaging, which is one of my favorites. The outer box matches the color of the Ina 2 you chose and has a picture of the vibrator on it. The inner box is black and has the LELO emblem on it. When you open it, your Ina is waiting for you. It comes with a charger, storage pouch, LELO warranty card, instruction manual, and sample of lubricant. This packaging would make a great gift.

You can use either the box or pouch to store your Ina 2. The instruction manual is very informative and is written in 12 languages. It answered most of the questions that I had.

Experience

I adore LELO products due to their quality, variety in vibrations, and quiet motors. I was hesitant, however, to try the Ina 2, worrying that it would not fit my anatomy well. I have a Mona 2 and, though I adore the bulge when I can handle it, sometimes my vagina does not feel like getting along with it. However, I am pleased to say that the Ina 2 exceeded my expectations. As somebody that adores pressure on my clitoris, that feature of the arm really adds to the experience. When I can handle the bulge on the shaft, this is my favorite rabbit to use, but sometimes it is just too much. This is a personal issue of mine, though, not a fault with the construction of the toy itself.

Follow-up commentary
I admit, I haven't used the Ina 2 much since writing this review, but that's more because of how many other toys I have that I need to try than something wrong with this toy in particular. When I do get it out, however, I am constantly amazed at how well it holds its charge - it seems to not lose any of it while in storage! I'm still iffy about the bulge in this toy's shaft (a personal issue, as most people adore it about the Ina 2 and its cousin, the Mona 2), but am getting better about being able to handle it by warming up more. When I can handle it, it feels incredible! As this was my biggest issue with this rabbit, I am pleased that it is going away! Overall, this is still a fantastic toy that you should consider adding to your collection if you are even remotely interested in purchasing it.

Thank you for the detailed review, and also for the waterproof test. I just don't get why LELO's still keeping that unnecessary flap on the Ina 2, why can't they leave that flap out like they did with the LIV 2? That flap is such an unneeded eyesore!

Thank you very much for your kind words! I agree - I would have preferred for their to be no flap. I'm thinking of cutting mine off, since it makes me worry for a moment every time.
