Ina Twoooooh!

Ina 2 is a great option for those who want a luxury, rechargeable, powerful splash proof toy. Its vibrations are not buzzy, but rumbly and can get pretty intense on the higher settings. With a girthy shaft and a flexible clitoral attachment, people who have had bad experiences with rabbit vibrators of similar shape and size may find a reprieve in this gem.

Use

Ina is back, boasting a revamped design and stronger vibrations. Ina 2 is a luxury rabbit vibrator manufactured by LELO. Its design is intended for dual G-spot and clitoral stimulation. Since there is a clitoral attachment, this product may be used anally since the clitoral attachment will stop it from being sucked in.

With deeper, more intense vibrations, and a design that corrects the flaws from the original Ina, this toy seems to have been made as a hybrid of the original Ina and Jopen's Vr6. The design is somewhere in between the two, and probably a perfect toy to try whose anatomy didn't quite fit the Vr6.

Despite its advertising, Ina 2 is NOT waterproof. Its buttons are redesigned to be splash proof, and the charging port is the same as the original Ina. While the box says Ina 2 is waterproof, its instructions clearly say "do not submerge" - even with a graphic to show the toy being placed in water as a no-no

Material / Texture

Ina 2 is made of a magnificently smooth silicone with a "soft touch" coating, according to its box. Silicone is a body safe material as it is non porous and rates a perfect 10 on Eden's safety scale. Its handle is made of white plastic, which has a safety rating of 8, but this shouldn't be an issue considering this portion of the toy is not inserted.

The silicone Ina 2 is made of is so smooth and sleek I was able to use it without any lubricant. However, I don't foresee it needing a lot of lube to be inserted unless you are experiencing dryness, or simply have a smaller vaginal canal. There is no drag, and it does not pick up fuzzies, pet hair, etc. Texture lovers may want to look past this one, since there really isn't a lot going on in that department. It is hard yet smooth and glides right across the skin.

In addition, Ina 2 is free of taste and odor.

Design / Shape / Size

Quick Measurements:
Total length: 8.5 in.
Insertable length: 5 in.
Thickest diameter: 1.75 in.
Thinnest diameter: 0.95 in.
Clitoral attachment length: 2.5 in.

I am a lover of girth and length, and Ina's 5 in. insertable length hits my deep G-spot just right. Its girth is satisfying as well; I feel nice and full but not uncomfortably so. People who prefer toys on the thinner side may want to skip this one, but I don't feel it's too intimidating to at least give it a try. The girth really makes me feel full right in the area of my G-spot so it makes for a great combination for me. The lower insertable portion of the toy is less than a 1 in. diameter so there are no worries of your vaginal opening being uncomfortably stretched.

Here you can see Ina and Ina 2 at different angles. You'll notice the shaft doesn't have quite as much as a curve as the original Ina, but the only difference in their insertable length is the fact that the new version doesn't have the plastic handle riding up on the back of the shaft. The original Ina's clitoral arm is a bit longer, thinner and doesn't have as much of a curve as Ina 2.

Here is a comparison shot of Ina, the Jopen Vr6 and Ina 2. The Ina 2 makes it look like LELO and Jopen had a love child.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Ina 2 has the same controls as the original Ina, but its buttons are formulated to be waterproof. I do believe this part of the toy truly is waterproof, as the buttons seem flush with the plastic base, and when I try to move the edge of the button with my fingernail, there is no open seam. It should also be noted that I have not had any incidents of accidentally pressing buttons during use.

There is an up, down, + and - button. The + and - control the strength of the vibrations. The vibrations start out at a whisper quiet, 1 vroom. There are 10 speeds of vibration; the button can be pressed 10 times to gradually work yourself up, or it can be held down to take it from its lowest to highest setting in one easy swoop. The same goes for turning the vibrations down.

On its highest setting, I feel Ina 2's power is comparable to Jopen's Vr6. Its vibrations are definitely rumbly, just not quite as deep as the Vr6. Ina 2's vibrations are definitely more intense than the original design. I thought the original Ina was strong, and it is, but Ina 2 tops it, no doubt. I am a lover of strong vibrations and I was absolutely pleased with this one. It is also very quiet - a bit louder than the original Ina, but I'm giving it 2 bees because while it is somewhat audible under blankets, it cannot be heard through a closed door.

Once you press the + button to turn the toy on, you can use the arrow buttons go through all of its settings. You can change settings and increase the intensity of the vibrations at the same time. They are kind of hard to explain, but I'll do my best.

No special function: Steady vibration in both shaft and clitoral attachment.
Setting 1: Shaft vibrations off, only clitoral attachment vibrates.
Setting 2: Alternating vibrations between the shaft and clit attachment.
Setting 3: A steady pulse of both shaft and clit attachment.
Setting 4: A fast paced escalation repetition of vibrations in shaft and clit attachment.
Setting 5: Same as above, except the escalation increases then decreases.
Setting 6: This one is pretty interesting. Steady vibrations, but random stronger, longer vibrations alternating between shaft and clitoral attachment. Kind of like a surprise as to what you're going to get.
The box and instructions say there are 8 settings, so I don't know if this simply isn't true, or if the vibrations on the last settings are so wacky that I can't tell a difference.

(edited so the writing is visible. My camera did not like the white background and light green lettering.)

Ok, so here's my biggest gripe - Ina 2 is marketed as being waterproof. Guess what? It's not true. Its box says it is "fully waterproof for use in the bath or shower, delivering wave after wave of pleasure any time you choose." Well, ladies and gents, that's BS. It clearly says in the manual to not submerge in water or boil any component.

The buttons may be waterproof, but the port for recharging definitely is not. It's the same design as the original Ina's. Can you tell a difference in the picture? I can't. It's the same flimsy silicone flap that fits into the hole where you plug it in.

How long does it take to charge, and how long does the charge last? Good question. There is no indication of this in the manual or the box itself. Since I don't have time to sit around with a timer and wait for the charge to complete, I'll put a ballpark average out there and say that I charged it for an hour before use, and it was good to go. I'm assuming it came with at least a partial charge from the factory. It's been used several times since and has not lost any power.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is one of the easiest materials to upkeep since it is nonporous. Since the recharge port cannot be submerged, if you plan on using soap and water to clean Ina 2, make sure you only do so on the insertable portion. Toy cleaner or wipes would also be suitable for cleanup. To completely sterilize the insertable portion of Ina 2, use a 10% bleach solution. It is advisable to do this if the toy is going to be used by a different person other than yourself. Under other circumstances it could be boiled, but since it has a plastic handle, that's a no no.

Water based lubricant or oil can be used with Ina 2. It is important to never use a silicone based lubricant with a silicone product, as this could lead to damage of the toy, such as making the material tacky or warped.

LELO has included a black satin bag to store Ina 2. It's the perfect option. It can also be stored in its original packaging, if you wish.

Packaging

Ina 2 comes in LELO's exquisite packaging. It comes in a cardboard box (in my case, it was green, since that was the color I chose) with a picture of the product and the LELO logo on the other side. Inside said cardboard box is a nice black box where you'll find all the goodies.

Ina 2 comes placed in a black cutout shape of the toy itself. In the compartment on the end you will find the manual, a sample packet of LELO's lubricant, the charger and a warranty card.

The warranty card must be something somewhat new, because I did not get one with my first Ina. It looks like a credit card and on the back has information about the warranty. LELO has a 1-year warranty for their products. When you receive your Ina 2, go to their website and enter the code listed on the back of your card. This is registering your product to protect it for a year in case there are any defects to the toy or if it stops working. They will replace it at no extra charge. They also offer a 10 year quality guarantee that will allow you to purchase another toy for 50% off if something happens to your toy beyond the one year timeframe.

Personal comments

I feel that Ina 2 is definitely an upgrade from the original Ina. I would recommend this to anyone who is worried about a rabbit not fitting their anatomy, as the clitoral attachment is quite flexible.

The only thing that let me down about this toy was the fact that it wasn't completely waterproof as marketed. It's not an issue for me, as I typically do not use my toys in the tub or shower, but I know a lot of women do and would be disappointed to find this out. Hopefully this review will get the word out that it is not 100% waterproof.

Experience

Ina was the first rechargeable toy I've owned, and I fell in love with it. I opted to go with purple, since that is my favorite color... I had regretted the decision, wishing I had gotten the green, since it's such a unique color. Somewhere between lime and pastel. Little did I know, I'd have my chance to get a green one... that's totally revamped and stronger!

I purchased Ina 2 the day it was released. I absolutely had to have it. I am 100% satisfied with my decision to get it. The whole not waterproof bit doesn't really affect me as much as it could others, but the redesigned shape and strength of vibrations are totally worth this downfall for me. Offering vibrations that are stronger and a bit more rumbly than the original Ina, I was able to climax with this toy within minutes. The clitoral attachment did not poke me; instead, it glided up and down nicely over my clitoris while I was thrusting.

In addition to thrusting with Ina 2, I also like to kind of wiggle it around inside of me. It gives a different internal sensation and I love to have pressure on my clit.
Follow-up commentary
Ok - I still LOVE this rabbit... and guess what? This sucker IS waterproof! I finally decided to submerge it, and it performed just as well under water as it did on dry land!

Reading reviews of other contributors, I've realized this definitely is an anatomy dependent toy. However, I lucked out and it works wonderfully for me. Some have said the clitoral attachment is kind of lacking, which I've come to agree with. The power in the shaft is definitely stronger. The combination of the power of the shaft, and the power of the clit attachment paired with the pressure it puts on my clit gives me explosive orgasms every time. This is definitely my favorite toy and gets used quite frequently!

The shaft vibrations are so strong, that I used it while using my Doc Johnson Mood Naughty butt plug, and it made the plug vibrate damn near as strong as the shaft! It was wonderful and this has become my new favorite way to use this toy.
