This toy is best used as a clitoral vibrator. Either for solo use or for foreplay/couples play. It would work best for someone who is more sensitive. If you cannot handle a strong vibration then this toy would probably work great for you. However, if you need a bit of oomph in your toys then the Key Lo is NOT going to work for you. It doesn't have enough power, and you can't change the strength setting. Only the Pattern.

I thought that the silicone sleeve would have a nice texture to it, but actually wound up liking the toy by itself better. The plastic glides more smoothly, and the sleeve doesn't fit very well, so not only does it have the drag of silicone, it also diffused the vibrations even more, and would occasionally fall off during use. The textured sleeve was the same story, a nice idea, but just simply did not have the execution required to make it work. There is no odor to the toy that I could smell, and no bad chemical tastes or anything. It just tastes like a plain old plastic vibrator.

I was not a fand of the design of this toy. I think the shape of it diffuses the vibrations out over the wider head of the toy, making it hard to pinpoint vibrations. I could never get this thing in just the right spot. I felt like a dog chasing my tail, trying to find the sweet spot. The curvature might have been nice... if this toy was even remotely big enough to use for thrusting, or to hit the G-Spot. Unfortunately it fell short there too. If you're a textbook woman... and your G-spot truly is 2 inches in on the upper vaginal wall", and doesn't take a genie and three wishes to find... then you might get lucky.

One of the plusses to this toy, is that it IS very discreet. Even if it were to get turned on by accident, it couldn't be heard rumbling around in your suitcase or purse. It's very quiet, small, and easy to conceal.
As for the functions, there five settings. The first is just a plain Jane straight vibration. The second, a fast pulse. Third is escalating. Fourth is a moderate pulse. And last is a series of long pulses followed by shorter pulses. The button is very easy to hit and turn on, or change your pattern. Holding the button down for 1-3 seconds results in it turning off, and it does not have a memory chip so it starts over when you turn it back on.

The Io is pretty easy to take care of. The silicone sleeves can be boiled to sterilize, however the vibrator itself cannot. You can wipe it down with your favorite toy wipe, or just a bit of soap and water. The toy comes with a lint-free storage bag to keep it in, which will come in handy in keeping the sleeves from touching other silicone toys/lubes that are in your toy drawer.
