The Cal Exotics 7" Ultimate beaver™ or The Beave as I call it, is my new go to toy. Although it's not as aesthetically attractive as other rabbit style vibrators it is the workhorse in my toy chest. It's like being on a sexy roller coaster ride! It twists and turns, vibrates and stimulates! It's amazing for those "do it yourself" kind of moments or even with your partner! The Beave gives internal and G-spot stimulation and for those of us who need or crave the clitoral stimulation, gives you that powerful yet gentle clitoral climax!

The Beave is made of rubber. Being porous rubber does not clean well, but you can make a rubber toy last longer and keep it cleaner by using a condom over it for each use. I personally don't use a condom, but I take special care in cleaning it and I make sure I get into all of the nooks and crannies before I put it away in its own plastic baggie.

When I first saw this toy I wasn't impressed with the aesthetics of it. It's nothing too exciting. It's veined, but not as most would think. It's not the traditional vein design of the natural cock, but more of a "design" incorporated into the "doll" look that it has. The veins are more of an indent in the material which makes it an easy target to harbor bacteria and lint. You can't really feel any of the veins so this is more for either a beginner or someone who doesn't like that "bumpy" feel inside of them.

The smell was pretty potent when I took it out of the box. And even after a few uses it still smells, but the smell is not as potent. I'm sure the smell will continue to decrease as I keep washing it.

The Beave is 9 inches long (4.5 insert-able) and 1.5 inches in diameter which slides in without any hesitation! It's pretty utilitarian as it doesn't have the bells and whistles that some rabbit-like vibrators have, but it does get the job done! You can bend the shaft a little and turn the rotating button on and it rubs up against your G-spot quite nicely!
As I said before the design on the shaft is that of a doll face and the clit vibrator is a beaver with its tongue stuck out. There is no "head" on it either. The only downfall to this is that it only comes in this fleshy peach color. This toy is NOT discreet. You can tell a mile away that it's a vibrator so if you want to travel with it, be prepared for odd looks going through the safety check at the airport!

The Beave's controls are located at his base. There are four buttons in a vertical position. The first two (low and high) are for the vibrating beaver that titillates your clit, but you can also feel some pretty intense vibrations through the base of the shaft. The second two (slow and fast) are for the rotating shaft that rubs on your G-spot ever so sweetly!

First button (low): Turns The Beave on and it's a lower intensity vibe. It makes about as much noise as a cell phone on vibrate.

Second button (high): Takes that lower intensity vibe to a whole other level. It's a higher pitched vibration, almost a thumping.

Third button (slow): Controls the rotation of the shaft on the Beave. Also, you can bend the shaft a little to get a bigger rotation if you want.

Fourth button (fast): Controls the rotation of the shaft on a "higher" setting. It rotates a bit quicker for some intense play.

Now there's a little catch. For ANY of these to work you have to have the FIRST button (low/slow) pushed in for any of the functions to work. Say you want the high vibe on the beaver - you have to push in the low button before you push in the high button. The same goes for the rotating shaft. But the controls are pretty easy to use and since there aren't a lot of buttons, it's really hard to mess up.

The batteries go behind the control buttons in the base. It takes 3 AA batteries. It's pretty self explanatory. Just slide the backside of the base off with your thumb (similar to a tv remote) and insert the batteries!

As for the noise level, well lets just say that YOU will be making more noise than the Beave. There's a faint humming from him, but nothing that would wake anyone in the next room.
Cleaning is a little more difficult because of all of the little ridges, but if you make sure you clean him thoroughly then he will last a long time!

As long as you take care in cleaning the Beave, you will have him for a long time. He's made of rubber, which is very porous so I personally use an anti-bacterial soap, water and a wash cloth to clean him. This way I can get into all of the nooks and crannies that bacteria loves to hide in! I then pat him dry with a towel and store him in a plastic zipper bag in my toy drawer for the next time!
I personally only use water based lube, but the packaging says that you can use a silicone based lube as well. The Beave isn't waterproof so I'm really careful about making sure water doesn't get into the battery compartment.
