While it can work as a normal everyday bullet I find it more of a gag gift. You can get a few and pass them out at bachelorette parties since they have a nylon necklace attached to it. The Mini Metals come in two colors pink and red.
Mini Metals is best used for clitoral stimulation but can be used to stimulate nipples, penis shaft and testicles. Since there is no flared base or anything else making this safe for anal play I don't recommend inserting this tiny toy anally as it could get stuck!!

The Mini Metals is made out of two materials plastic and nylon. So what does this mean?
The main part of the bullet that will be inserted or touching your genitals is made of plastic. Plastic rates a 8 on the Eden Safety scale meaning that it is a nonporous item and won't absorb your bodily fluids causing bacteria growth or damaging the toy. Plastic is also latex free, phthalates, hypoallergenic and body safe. Even though plastic isn't porous it can't fully be sterilized either which is done by boiling, dishwasher cleaning or bleaching. If you plan to share this toy I would recommend it being covered with a protective barrier such as a condom. You and your partner are fluid bonded an you don't share toys outside of just you and them, no worries then just make sure you clean the bullet properly before playing. Plastic has no give to it an can be very hard an rigid so you will want to take caution when applying pressure.
There is no texture on the bullet itself that will help enhance your pleasure experience. The bullet is completely smooth with no seams, bumps or lumps. There is some texture on the bottom part which is the battery compartment, this doesn't aid in stimulation. You will find a metallic shine to the plastic, I am unsure if this will peel off of the bullet over time like I have seen happen with other toys designed like this. As I mentioned 2 materials, the string for the necklace is made out of nylon this material soaks up anything and everything. For this case you might want to removed the string before playing to keep it from absorbing bodily fluids and lubricants. If you plan to play with it in the shower no worries you can use it to hang it up in the shower to dry.
Plastic usually has no smell or taste to it, I don't taste my toys so the taste I can't tell you about for sure. Upon opening the Mini Metal no smell was present.
The design of the Mini Metals is pretty simple, an who doesn't like simple right? This simple non intimidating design works well for newbies to the toy world. I believe the design also works great when trying to introduce toys into a relationship with a partner who is unsure of toys. Being very petite in size it is kind of hard to hold you can find the measurements here on the product page.
If you purchase these for parties to wear out on the town for bachlorette parties they are easy to slip over the head and hang down a bit. When I tried mine on as a necklace it hung right in the middle of my cleavage or just below depending on my stance. The necklace string is pretty long it is about 15 inches long so it won't be tight around the neck.
You could easily hide the Mini Metal in your purse or in a drawer in your room. However if someone does come across it I am sure they will know what it is for. Very simple to travel with if you are going out for a party toss it on as a necklace!! Want to be more discreet drop it in your purse, suit case or carry on bag.
Mini Metals is very straight and to the point there isn't much to the controls. You will find that the toy runs on those stupid little watch batteries!!!! While most of us don't like watch batteries know that they include EIGHT batteries with the bullet it uses 4 at a time.
In order to power your Mini Metal you will want to place the batteries into the battery compartment in the bottom of the bullet. You will see where the necklace is attached, you will want to unscrew this. The batteries are inserted into little plastic battery holders, you do NOT remove them from that you insert the whole thing into the battery compartment. Screw the bottom back on. Once the batteries are dead remove them from the plastic holder an discard them to the trash. Hang on to the plastic sleeve as you will need that once you replace the batteries.
There isn't much variety with this toy its either On or Off! There aren't any patterns or high/lo speeds. To turn it on you will simply turn the battery cap clockwise as far as it will go til you feel vibrations. To power of turn the battery cap counterclockwise til vibrations stop. When the vibrations stop don't go any further if you are using it in the water as it will pop open the battery compartment.
While the controls are pretty simple to start with they can be hard to deal with when you have either lubricant or your own juices on your hands. Make sure your hands are dry when turning on/off so you can avoid the toy from slipping out of your hand. I don't really find them convenient, I believe a push button would have been better for the controls.
The product page as well as the packaging has the Mini Metals listed as waterproof. I am happy to report that I had no issues with holding the Mini Metals under the running faucet in the sink. Once I completely dried it off an opened the battery cap I found absolutely NO water inside.
If you are one who worries about someone in your home or dorm hearing your vibrators while in use you are in the clean with Mini Metals it is almost whisper quiet. Being a 1 on the Buzz scale you won't be able to hear it through a closed door. The vibrations I found to be on the buzzy numbing side of things, so if you are one who doesn't like buzzy vibrations this isn't going to be for you.
With the material that the Mini Metals is made out of it is going to be pretty easy to clean and care for. Since the bullet is waterproof you can wash it off in the sink with antibacterial soap and warm water, rinsing thoroughly and drying before storage. If you plan to only use it in the shower just hang it up an let the nylon string and bullet dry. You can also use toy wipes, baby wipes as well as antibacterial toy sprays. Double check around where the battery cap screws on an make sure your bodily fluids don't build up in the crease that is there. You can easily remove the battery cap an wipe it very carefully with a wipe or wet rag to clean the area.
Storing is pretty simple, if you don't share a bathroom you can hang this little thing up in the shower! If you aren't using in the shower you can easily store it back in the original packaging that it arrived in, a Ziploc bag or just toss it in the drawer. Plastic doesn't really have the potential to react with other materials.
Toys made out of plastic can be used with any lubricant of your choice to make for easy gliding and better comfort while in use!!
The packaging is pretty much a plain Jane plastic clam shell that doesn't serve much of a purpose but to hold the toy during shipping. You can use this as a method of storing it like I do or you can toss it. Since the packaging is made out of plastic you can recycle it instead of tossing it in the trash. I prefer to keep the packaging especially since there are little spots that hold that batteries in place that I would otherwise loose.
I wouldn't say that it is all that grand for gift giving since it isn't all that discreet if you were to give in front of people. You will find a girl on the front and the words massager, no nudity is shown though it is covered up. You will see that it is waterproof, body safe as well as the general information to contact CalExotics.
There are instructions included inside but they are generalized and is similar to what you find in ALL the toys. It might help you get the batteries in right and it might not, all jokes aside they are worthless instructions.
My overall experience with this one wasn't all that grand being what some would call a toy snob or advanced user it didn't work for me. I prefer strong rumbly vibrations that I can get from one of my favorite clit vibes which is no longer carried here which is the Salsa. I do like that it can be given as a gag gift an that is pretty much all it can be for myself. I do like the steady vibrations just wish they were stronger! A lot of people find steady vibrations to be boring I prefer nothing but pure steady vibrations so that is a plus for me.
Sadly I wasn't able to reach orgasm with this little jewel. I am always looking to try new stuff so this was just a plus but a let down all in the same package.
